You know first base, second base, third base?

Right now Lollie and Lucas were on second base, eventually moving on to the third.

It was exciting.

Lollie and Lucas stood on a baseball field in the middle of freezing weather.

"I hit that." Lollie said.

"I know you did, but it went to second base."

"No, it didn't it went out of second base." Lollie sighed, "What if I hit it again?"

Lucas smiled, "What do I get out of this?"

"If I hit it and you catch it on second base. I'll buy you anything you want from Topanga's."

"Anything?"

"Anything and everything."

"Okay. What if I don't catch it?"

Lollie shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know. You know me, you know what I like."

Lollie stuck her hand out, "Deal?"

Lucas smiled and shook her hand.

"Deal."

This was considered a date to them. They had fun with their dates. Their friends and family thought it was odd that going to a baseball field in forty-five-degree weather or literally tackling each other to the ground was weird, but Lucas and Lollie didn't care.

All that matters is that they were enjoying each other's company and that's exactly what they were doing.

When Lollie made it to home base she turned around and faced him.

"The automatic ball machine thing is going to start and I'll hit it and it will fly over your head, okay?"

"Is that so?"

"Oh, I know so."

Lollie got into position and was ready to hit the ball.

When the machine threw the ball Lollie hit it with a ton of force.

It did fly over Lucas' head and he didn't catch it.

"Yes!"

Lollie ran over towards Lucas and jumped on his back.

"I told you."

"Would you look at that?"

Lollie smiled, "I could be a baseball player."

"I wouldn't doubt that."

Lollie hopped off his back.

"I'm having a good time."

"I'm glad you are."

"I still want my prize though."

"I still want my prize though." He mocked.
