Ch. 15: Moving Mountains
Part OneSilver's p.o.v.
I wish there was something I could do to consol Steve. Every since he's woken up he's just been crying. I wanted to ask but I didn't want to push. So I climbed into the bed on side of him and just hugged him. He was extremely fucking lucky. The bullet narrowly missed his spine. He lost of blood, but he would be okay with no serious damage done. I couldn't be more thankful. After I spent that entire night talking to my dad I know there's some kind of power in a hug from someone who truly cares about you.
"I wish there was more I could do to help you feel better." I sighed the moment he calmed down.
"I could say the same about you." He snickered.
"I'll tell you whatever you want to know."
"Will you still love me even if you find out there's more to me than either of us knew." He genuinely sounded scared as if there was even a small possible chance of that happening.
"Nothing can change the way I feel about you Steve."
"I pulled a gun on your father." He blurted his shoulders shaking slightly from withheld tears. "It was wrong and I shouldn't have, but I did. I hate myself for it because in that moment it wasn't your father that I saw. It was my own." He cried his sobs starting all over. I pulled him tighter to me as I tried to calm him, but nothing seemed to be working.
"Steve you have to tell me what happened? I know you went to that house we were in. What happened while you were there?"
"Silver I...I..." He barely made out with two words before he was crying like a broken child in my arms. I held him even tighter to me letting him cry into my chest as I wiped away a few of my own tears.
"Shhh, it's okay Steve. It's okay. I'm right here. I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere."

I couldn't stop crying. I didn't want to put my extra on her, but I still had to deal myself. I could feel her arms wrapping tighter around me and it honestly only made want to cry harder as I clinged tighter to her.
"Whenever you're ready to talk, I'm here." She whispered placing a small kiss on top of my head. We sat there in silence for a moment as she let me cry until eventually I cried myself to sleep again.
"Stephan! Stephan! Where are you?!" I yelled running around excited in search of my brother.
"I'm peeing Steven!" He yelled back making me laugh.
"Well hurry up. Mommy bought new blocks. Says it's better for making towers AND they stay together."
"No way!"
"Yes! Now hurry up and wash your hands."
"Okay, okay." I laughed as he tried to rush his pee before running back off to mommy.
"Mommy!" Where did she go?
"In the kitchen hun."
"Can I see the cake?"
"When your brother comes down."
"Is it chocolate? I like chocolate."
"I know Steven. Yes it chocolate."
"I love you mommy." I blurted causing her to stop putting the groceries up and look at me.
"You love me because the cake is chocolate?" He teased.
