Adrian's back suddenly went stiff as if what he saw was a long lost twin that he never expected to see again. I bent down on my knees trying to be as hidden as possible-maybe I should have just went to the room instead.

Out of the blue, Adrian tried to shut the door in front of him as if it could at least get a little further away from this guys but the man set his foot in the way, failing whatever Adrian was thinking

"now, now boy, that's not how You treat your guests" the guys said as smug as possible and I hated it. He seemed really confident, too confident for my taste. And he sounded oddly familiar, and that just scared me even more

"aren't You gonna let me in? I'll be glad if you did" the guy said completely opening the door and even with just his sillhoutte, I could still see and sense the smirked That was probably plastered on his face.

Adrian seemed defeat as he stepped aside to let this man enter his home. The man stepped inside and I retracted my face a little trying to be unnoticed as possible.

I was shaking furiously because I felt nervous that I might somehow blew both our covers away and someone will end up dying. I shrugged the disgusting feeling off as I heared the man starting to walk and Adrian closed the door behind him.

I started panicking but I held myself together as I crawled my way towards the far end of the kitchen and hiding behind the pillar. I saw the man walking past the kitchen-not noticing me- and Adrian followed but he glanced at my direction and he made eye contact for only a second.

A second was all it took for him tell me something out of those dangerous eyes.

He was probably telling me 'don't You dare do anything stupid! and stay hidden!' well at least for me that was what it looked like.

I saw them sat on the couch, the mysterious mans back was faced in my direction while Adrian sat on the middle one, making me face his profile.

"So what will it be boy?" the guy said rather loudly that it was hard for me not to listen. Jokes on him, he probably thought the place was empty.

"I do not intend to tell the enemy anything" Adrian said rather confidently as he leaned forward a little, setting both his elbows on his knees.

"Well, You did let the enemy enter your own home, what's the point in that? Look as much as i want to kill you and everyone You love, You staying alive will benefit us so just give up and obey. Don't let it be the hard way" the guy said suddenly becoming serious

"leave this place if that is all your are willing to say" Adrian said pointing towards the door and standing up.

"sit down boy, we're not yet done" the guy said seriously as I felt him glare at Adrian. Adrian continued to walk, ignoring what the guy said.

"so did you like the gift we left You?" the guy said more confidently and composed this time and Adrian stopped walking but remained at that position

"what gift?" Adrian said turning his head towards the guy

"You know? The girl?" that was all he said until the room suddenly felt cold and stiff. Adrian turned his whole body towards the guy again and I could feel the glare he was giving.
