I thanked myself when I remembered I knew how to stitch up wounds from personal experience since Adrian agreed that I could stitch it up for him.

I was currently walking through the streets of Broadway, a place where only rich people live and I felt extremely out of place walking beside this wealthy ass people.

I was restless last night since Adrian couldn't sleep and he demanded me to bring him stuff that he needed and that caused me to be sleepless the whole night. But despite him being smuggled and whatever I still felt that he was extremely uncomfortable with what just happened.

The blonde guy (who's name I figured out last night was simon) and his crew left an hour later that night and we didn't get along that much so I couldn't really ask him anything regarding about what happened.

It's currently afternoon and I could have left earlier but Adrian didn't want me to leave his apartment but in the end I convinced him but when I left with a smile, he looked annoyed and defeated at the same time even though his face didn't show any expressions.

When I left the apartment, I figured out that directly in front of the front door was a narrow hallway with an elevator at the end which means he had that whole floor to himself.

He gave me money to buy what I needed to stitch up his wound and a little more extra money for groceries. He told me that if I had a little bit of extra money, I could buy whatever I wanted but I didn't feel comfortable wasting his money.

I told him one final time that he could just go to the hospital to let them stitch it, but he refused.

Damn, this heat is seriously killing me but it actually felt good to be outside again. The only downside is that people are staring at me with either disgust or confusion. Probably because I looked like a weirdo in men's clothes. I look like I just woke up.

I still wore the same clothes Adrian handed me last night since I was too lazy to change but Adrian did hand me a sweatshirt when I left. And I seriously regretted that. I didn't except him to live in a place like this, don't blame me.

I fixed my hair a little bit to at least make myself a little more decent and presentable but I still held my head down low.

There was a nearby pharmacy around here somewhere and a Walmart a little further down the street, just like Adrian told me. I wanted to dissappear quickly in this street because I seriously started to feel like I looked disgusting by the way the people was staring at me.

I went inside the pharmacy and went straight to the counter to ask for what I needed. There was an old lady behind it and she looked so kind and sweet I couldn't refuse to smile at her.

"hi dear, what can I get for you?" the old lady kindly asked me.

"uhm... I was looking if you had any kind of needle and thread to stitch up a wound?" I asked the old lady, trying to not be suspicious. Well, when I stitched myself up, I just sterilised a needle and used a dental floss.

I know it sounds dangerous but it all worked out well in the end. I had no intentions of doing that to Adrian though, he might regret his decision if I did.

The old lady looked at me suspicious at first but she didn't question me as she handed me what I needed. I paid for it and said goodbye before leaving the store.
