Backstory:

Ruhi had been taken to court by Shagun. Ishita has forgiven Raman. But in order to save Ruhi, she ran. She gets hurt and all is same till yesterday episode. But Raman does NOT steal the papers.

Judge read aloud "According to these papers, Ruhi will be sent back to Ishita Bhalla and Aditya to Shagun Arora."

Just then Shagun shouts dramatically "I don't Want Adi . I just want Ruhi."

Adi was shocked and devastated. His own mother turning on him! Breaking his heart and violating his trust! After all the things he had done for her, "unbelievable" he thought

Vohra speaks "We should ask the child only"

Adi was called to witness box. Ruhi who was sitting on her Ishima's Lap was praying that her brother chose Ishima instead of Shagun Mama. Shagun who was overconfident that Adi would choose her sat on the stands haughtily without a tinge of worry

Adi looked at Shagun and then back at Ishita. He rubbed his forehead with hesitation and spoke uncertainly "I...I want to stay with Ishita Aunty"

Everyone are elated . Aditya Bhalla's permanent custody was also given to Ishita.

HOME

Everyone celebrate Adi's Custody win after coming home but Raman is kind of cold to Ishita. He was that pretending that everything was fine just for the sake of the family when clearly it wasn't.

Adi and Ruhi were the only ones to notice it.

So Ruhi asked innocently "Ishima, Is papa angry with you?"

Ishita answers "No Beta. Why?"

Ruhi replied "Kyunki papa apse baat nahi kar rahe.vo answer to point khel rahe hai" [Because papa is not talking to you properly. He is answering to your point]

Ishita "Aisa nahi hai bacha.aap jaake Adi bhaiya ke saath khelo" [There is nothing like that. You go and play with Adi bhaiyya]

Ishita who had also observed this was terribly broken. She decided to confront Raman for his behaviour. Raman loved Adi and would have killed to have him over at his place and now that they have custody, he's behaving like that! She remembered all Loving moments between them and sat in her room and cried for hours. Adi saw this and told his simmi bua. She decided to set right things between bhai bhabhi.

As soon as Raman came home she told him that Ishita hadn't had her food which was coincidentally true. Raman went to room and pulled JKR out.

He served her dinner and was about to leave when Ishita caught him by his hand. He instantly jerked it and asked "Do you want anything else?"

Ishita responded "Yes"

Raman inquired "What"

Ishita stated "Your answer to why you're ignoring me"

"Sorry, I didn't get you" said confused Raman

Ishita repeated "I want you to answer my question Raman"

Raman grumbled "I have a call meeting"

Ishita complained "See. You ARE ignoring me"

Raman said in a defeated tone "I'm not"

Ishita stated "You're"

Raman retorted "No. Just eat" and he was about to leave.

Ishita shouted "Then why do you care about me?"
