The Plan Of Action:
There were very faint voices, they sounded distant but at the same time clear. She was hot and cold at the same time. Her entire body was on fire but her she felt like her forehead - like her brain was a block of ice. She opened her eyes with a lot of difficulty. She opened them but then they closed again. She tried to move but found that moving was also hard, the voices were fading, as if they were moving further and further away until suddenly they just stopped. Her eyes fluttered open but the room was so bright that she squeezed them closed again and then opened them, so that they could adjust. There were two faces looking down at her, one belonging to the Princess Ulelesse and the other to the Kings physician, Syndra.
"Oh good, you woke up" smiled Ulelesse, looking at the girl through her painfully bright blue eyes. "Stay laying down, Syndra says you are still weak."
The girl looked around, these were elves... This was bad, she should not be in contact with elves. She tried to fight but her body was so weak and sore that she could not.
"Please" she begged, almost crying. "P-please, do not hurt me."
"No one is allowed to hurt you until the King and Queen have said otherwise" said Syndra , examining the girl carefully with her brown eyes. The girl tried to sit up and Ulelesse helped her sit up, allowing the girl to hold onto her for support.
"What is your name, human?" Syndra took a seat on the other side of the girl and felt her heart beat. "Your heart is beating normally again, good news, good news. Now, your name?"
"My name? Avice. Avice Carmellania. Why does it matter?" the girl answered, to scared too be as aggressive as wish she could. Too cowardly to fight and runaway.
"Avice, there is something I need to tell you and it will not be easy to hear" Syndra began softly, trying to calm the girl down before bringing the poor news on to her. "You are a werewolf."
"A what?"
"A werewolf. The bite was a wolf bite" Ulelesse put a hand on the girls shoulder to hold her down and provide comfort. Avice looked at the floor and then from face to face. Her eyes that were at one point a lovely shade of jade green were now bright fiery yellow. She darted her tongue along the tips of her teeth and found fangs, she looked at her hands and found very sharp claws sticking out of them. She could smell everything from the fresh air blowing into the room through the window to the silk that made up the womans dresses. It was a lot to take in, she couldn't see colour anymore either. It was awful. Everything was black or white or gray. She never again see the blue in the sky or the green in the grass. Then suddenly she began to cry.
"This is not fair" she sobbed, "it is not fair. I shall never be able to return home. Not like this. Is there not a way to cure me?"
"No my dear, there is not. I am truly sorry" answered the physician sympathetically. "Take her away, get her cleaned up and decently dressed. Now that she is awake the King and Queen will want to see her."
"Yes of course" Ulelesse helped the girl up, for now she had been dressed in an old dress of the Physicians who it no longer fitted and was to old for everyday wear. "Come along, Avice and thank you Syndra."
