Best Friends Boyfriend - Bruce

Bruce POV

It was quiet in the tower and almost empty, I heard a sound coming from the living area so I decided to check out who it was.

It was Y/n, he was watching something on TV. I took a few steps back before going to talk to him, I looked to one of the mirrors on the wall and did a quick check on myself, fixing my hair and all.

I walked into the living space," Oh Y/n, you're here. What a- a surprise." I said awkwardly. I mentally face palmed myself.

Y/n turned around to look at me and smiled. I felt my blood pressure increase, a release of adrenaline and sensitivity in my stomach.

Y/n gave me butterflies.

I cleared my throat," Whe-where's Thor?" I asked him. Thor was the only one I could consider my best friend on the team after Sakaar. Y/n was equally as important as him, if not more.

"Oh, he had to attend to some Asgardian business." Y/n revealed, I walked closer to him," You didn't go with him?" I asked, I facepalmed myself again, of course he didn't go.

"Nah, the whole dimensional teleportation gives me an extreme headache." He said. I walked closer and sat next to him," Well, we could do something fun while you're here."

"Like?" Y/n asked intrigued.

I leaned closer to him and whispered,

"I have Twister."

"It's your turn." Y/n yelled trying to hold his position. I spun the dial," Right foot, green." I read aloud. I looked at our predicament and knew that it was going to wok well.

I moved my foot and instantly lost my balance and fell and so did Y/n. I ended up landing on top of him and we both burst into laughter and it slowly died down.

I was captivated by his e/c eyes and we just stared at each other. Y/n was the first to speak," Th-that was a, a tricky one." He said not breaking our stare," Yeah, I was gonna fall for you eventually." I said.

I leaned in and kissed Y/n, surprisingly he kissed me back. I tilted my head as we kissed and my eyes closed, I was in an absolute daze. I felt my stomach warm up from the experience and my heart started beating faster.

Y/n pulled away," Oh my god, I'm so sorry." he said and got up, so did I. He put his head in his hands. I moved closer to him but he took a step back," It was in the heat of the moment."

"Yeah, I- I should go." He said and immediately went to the elevator, he couldn't even look at me.

I felt my heart beating faster, I was angry, really angry. Angry at myself.

I looked at my hands and saw them turning green, I needed to escape. At the moment I didn't want to be Bruce.
