ANJANA - The Cursed Angel

Third part

#Author's note: So here is the third chapter. Earlier when I used to read the author's note, I used to be surprised when they talked about how the characters are shaping themselves automatically. Now when I started, I am surprised to see the characters of my story shaping as if they have their own mind. I have the end in my mind but the events occur as the story grows.

Let me know about every silly and big blunders in this novel. I am waiting for the positive criticism. Thank you for reading my story.

In the Tribe at night

"Devi...thank God Shiva, you returned on time." Ramya bowed her head while speaking.

"Why Ramya, you do feel anxious. Has something happened behind my back? Huh....."Devi asked tiredly.

Her exploration at noon was too much for her. She went to the temple to meditate but God Shiva had something else in his mind.

She was not exactly surprised to see Indra at the temple. After Keval found the girl, she knew she soon will have some guests.

First, it was impossible for a living being to be in that forbidden forest other than her tribe.

Second, the girl was alive. It was a miracle only Tri Devas were capable to do.

She knew she will soon get some answers.

After all, Gods are involved and her tribe is the center stage now of their work. She must be notified by them.

But she never imagined seeing Indra again. Her hatred towards Indra was a famous story every heaven habitat knew.

She was furious but she knew, she can't deny the Tri Devas. It was beyond her power.

She sighed.

Ramya was waiting for the Devi to acknowledge her. But she was afraid to disturb Devi in her deep thought.

Finally, Devi turned her attention towards Ramya

"Oh, Ramya....you were saying....."Devi asked

"Y....yes Devi. That girl. She is awake now. She was asking so many questions. But I told her to wait for you. I did right, am I Devi?" Ramya asked hesitantly.

"Good Ramya, you did perfect. But did you offer her something to eat?" Devi asked.

"Yes, Devi, I gave her rice porridge and lemon pickle. I thought to give her something light as she didn't have anything for four days. I must not disturb her appetite." Ramya spoke.

"Ramya, I must say. You have improved a lot." Devi appreciated Ramya.

Ramya was very happy to hear appreciation from Devi.

After all, it is not every day the tribe leader praise someone.

"Ramya, I am going to meet the girl. Make sure no-one disturb me when I am in her room. Be my guard and don't let any living creature enter the room. Do you understand?" Devi ordered Ramya.

"Y...yes Devi. As you say. No one will enter the room. I will personally secure the entry." Ramya spoke in a jiffy.

"Hmm..."Devi hummed and moved towards the girl's room.
