When Marylin got home her dad wasn't home yet. She asked Chris to come in and watch a film. Which he didn't mind. "So what do you want to watch?" She asked. "What have you got?"  She pointed to a whole wall covered in dvds. "Wow.." he said gobsmacked. "There is a lot of Shakespeare dvds, my dad." she said turning on the pop corn machine. "How about this?" He said holding up 'The Goonies'. "Oh my I love the Goonies I haven't seen it in years." she smiled. "I love it too." he smiled. She took it out of his hands and put it in the dvd player, "I can't believe you have your own theater room." he said looking around pulling her on his lap.

"I always come in here to watch any movie just in peace." she wrapped her hands around his neck. She was about to kiss him when her dad came in. "Sorry was I interrupting something?" He said holding his hands up. "Dad  can i speak to you a minute?" Marylin got up of Chris's lap walking out and down the stairs into the kitchen. "What is it?" "I saw you in your dressing room with that woman." she said placing her hands on her hips. "Marylin. I.." "Don't lie. I heard you talk about dinner Saturday night." "Can't I be happy?" He asked. "Yes but if you expect me to call her mum." "I don't expect you to."

"She will never, never replace my mum, ever." Marylin started to raise her voice. "Some day we have to move on." "We'll I don't ever want to." she shrugged, "I never got to meet my mum and some times I blame my self for her death. If I wasn't born she would be alive now." "Don't say that.." "I can say whatever I want." she said looking in the fridge and getting out two bottles of water. "So you can find someone and I can't?" "I'm not saying that." she said placing them on the island. "So what are you saying?" "It doesn't matter." she sighed picking up the bottles and walking out up the stairs.

"Are you okay?" Chris asked as Marylin slammed the door shut. "I hate him." she gave Chris a bottle and sitting next to him. She pressed play and sat back watching the film. In the middle of the film Chris got up and kissed Marylin's forehead. "Where are you going?" She asked. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom I'll be quick." he smiled closing the door behind him. He went down stairs and into the kitchen to find Tom sat at the table looking deep in thought, "Tom are you okay man?" Chris asked. "No. I think I've lost my daughter." he looked up at Chris. "You haven't lost her. She's upset. I mean wouldn't you be a little?" Tom sighed looking down at his tea, "so what should I do?"

"Go out with this woman. I know Marylin will soon warm up to her. I'll talk to her and ask her to give her a chance." "Thank you Chris man. So what is going on between you and Marylin?" "I think you should ask her." Chris said getting up but Tom stopped him, "she doesn't want to speak to me." "We kissed." he simply said walking up the stairs. Tom didn't know what to say he was happy for his daughter but how could she not tell him. He got up pouring out his tea in the sink and making his way up stairs.

"I told him." Chris sat down placing her on his lap. "What?" "Don't worry I only told him we kissed. I think you should tell him about what we did the other night." "What did you do the other night?" Her dad suddenly appeared. Marylin didn't know what to say she looked at Chris then her dad. "So you did founde?" he looked hurt his daughter didn't tell him, "Get out" he said to Chris. "No stay." Marylin still stayed on his lap. "Marylin." "No dad. I am 20 years old I can do whatever I want. You can't tell me what I can and can't do!" Marylin stood up to her dad. "Missy go to your room now!" Tom said rasing his voice. She stayed where she was crossing her arms. "Now!"

"Come on Chris he's being stupid." she said taking hold of Chris's arm and walking out to her room. "Look I'm gonna go. You need to talk to your dad, properly." Chris kissed her softly before walking down stairs and left. She sighed looking at the cinema door to see her dad. She glared at him before opening her bedroom door and going inside slamming the door shut. She sat on her bed crying. She was so stupid. Then she felt sick.

She ran to the bathroom to be sick. She knew she shouldn't of drank. She hoped it would wash away what happened. It didn't and now she is a drunken mess. She sat in the floor and looked up to see her razor sat on the side of her bath. She picked it up rolling up her sleves. Taking a deep breath...
