Trying to move

I'm a month pregnant now and we're having twins! A girl and a boy. It's a new year and Oak goes back to work tomorrow. He kisses down my neck and kisses my swollen belly "how are you my beautiful babies" Oak kisses my belly one last time before getting up. He helps me up and we freshen up together "do you need any help?" I shake my head no. After getting dressed I feed the boys and the girls ate small bowls of cereal while watching cartoons. Oak lays Kai down on their blanket on his belly so he can play with his brothers. Kodda and Cain are staring at each other laughing I gasp a little laying a hand on my belly "what's wrong?" I grab his hand resting it on my belly. I feel another kick and Oak smiles who knew that this would happen to us." I agree with him "I'm so proud of you you don't know how much I love you. I love so so much" he kisses me and I kiss back. His hand rubs my stomach as he kiss me then we fill another kick "they're aggressive" I smile. Kodda starts crying slightly kicking "aw what's wrong?" He picks up our baby boy and Kodda starts cooing "hey what's wrong little man?" Cain rolls himself over on his back staring up at me. I smile picking him up "you girls want to go see Mary Poppins?" They smile nodding "Uncle Lin is in that movie!" They quickly get up running to their rooms to put their shoes on. Oak holds Kai and follows me up stairs to dress the babies. I lay Cain down taking his pajamas off and change his diaper before putting his clothes on. I feel oak wrap his arms around me kissing my neck "I love you so much Lyra."

Oak always tells me he loves me no matter wha, but the I love you thing is getting out of hand. I'm grateful that he shows that to me everyday but every few minutes of the day is tiring. We get in our seats waiting for the movie to start and the twins start kicking again. "Are you alright?" I nod smiling as he rubs my belly. "I love you" 'I know but can you tone down the I love you's a bit?' I say in sign language "ok" the movie starts and I had to quiet the girls every time Lin popped up which was a lot.
After the movie we walked through the city eating ice cream. "I've been looking at a few houses for us to buy and I found a few people who wants to buy it for $300,415" I almost choked on the price "I know it gets better another couple are willing to pay for it for $999,000" 'why? Who are these people?' He shrugs "fans of Hamilton and the $999,000 is coming from one of the basketball players for California" I nod. How about we move to Jersey or do you want to stay in California?" I shrug I don't mind going back to his home town at least we would be closer to our family and friends again. I want us to live somewhere new place where it's peaceful and quiet. "What are you thinking about?" 'Texas' he laughs "what?" 'I want to live in Texas' he shrugs "ok what part?" 'Dallas or Austin' he laughs again "why Texas though?" 'I want to live somewhere new' he nods "ok we can check it out. I will get us tickets to the next flight for Texas" I smile kissing his cheek."
We get back to the house and I hear him on the phone "she wants to move to Texas Dav, TEXAS! We will be far far away from you guys we don't know anyone who lives in Texas... I can't tell her that it will hurt her... maybe I can convince her to move back to New York or stay in Cali. Anyways I'll talk to you tomorrow bye." He hangs up and turns around to see me standing there. "Lyra how much did you hear?"  I walk out the room pissed "Lyra please talk to me" I shake my head. He promised we would go to Texas then turns his back on it. I go upstairs to our room locking the door and lay in bed "Lyra open the door please?" I ignore him and fall asleep.
