So much icing I think I'm going to be sick. "You look pale" Oak studies me for a bit "she's not a big fan of icing so I will be doing most of the taste testing."
We make it to the bakery and we sit at a table trying different flavors. Oak tested the rest while I take pictures of him eating cake. "Well I like the middle one out of all of them" he still had crumbs and and icing on the corner of his mouth and on his lips. I grab his face kissing him licking the icing off his lips. I lick the corner of his mouth as well "ok you two enough" I blush. The baker writes down the cake we want and we leave for the party. "Remember the new cast in Chicago?" Oak and I nodded "I invited them to the party if that's alright" we get to the club that Lin reserved for us and we go in greeted with lots of hugs. "You smell like cake" Anthony said smelling Oak then Dav join in making me laugh. "You must be the lovely miss. Lyra" I blush a tall light skin man kiss my hand "and you are?.." he straightens "Jamaal" Oak pulls me close to him "yea she's my soon to be wife" Jamaal studies Oak I can tell the two are going to hate each other. "Well let the party begin!" Lin says dramatically and everyone starts dancing or talking. Oak sits me in lap drinking a beer "we're going to miss you two" I smile kissing Oak's cheek and whisper in his ear. "I need to use the restroom" he lets me go and I quickly use it then washed my hands. I feel arms slide around and I jump away "Jamaal what are you doing in here?" Rebbe shows him on her phone. "Meaning she will only talk to certain people. This is when something bad happens to a person to become selectively mute." Oak looks at me with a hard stare "what happened to you?" I start crying "Jamaal raped Lyra" Renee answers for me and the music stops. "He what?" He looks at a pale drunk Jamaal.
