Chapter Six

"Sorry V But Toni was kind of confused" said Betty.

"Don't you think that this matter would be worse if you told Toni?" said Veronica.

Cheryl went behind the other side of the lockers and said "Can you guys not?"

"No. Cheryl come here" said Veronica.

Veronica went over and dragged Cheryl by the arm.

"Betty. Go tell the Vixens that they should go to the second gym" said Veronica.

I was still confused as to what was going on and I was waiting for Veronica to say something.

"Is anyone going to tell me what's wrong or did you guys just feel the need to drag my ass here" I said.

"Your little friend over here-"

"Veronica shut the hell up" said Cheryl slightly shaking.

"I don't wanna go to practice today" said Cheryl.

"Just because of this? You could just deal with it" said Veronica.

"No I cant because every second that Toni stands there is another second of me just desperately wanted to go home" said Cheryl.

"Uh I don't know what's up but do you want a hug? I-"

"I don't think that's a good idea" said Veronica smirking.

"Well I can give her a fucking hug if I want" I said.

"Uh no you can't" said Veronica.

"Why the hell not?"

"Because she's kinda-"

"Tell her and I'll kill you" said Cheryl.

Cheryl wasn't even in her Vixen uniform. She was wearing a black tank top and some gray sweatpants.

"Cheryl is turned on. By you. Wearing a crop top" said Veronica.

If I had water, I'd spit it out. I didn't know that Cheryl was really crushing on me.

"Are you now?" I said smirking and sitting next to her.

"Toni. Stop" she said.

I moved closer and asked "If I even so much as touch you, would you kill me?"

She nodded and Veronica was just watching this.

"Wow you're that turned on?" I asked.

"Toni. Just shut the hell up" she said.

Betty then walked in and sat next to Veronica as she filled her in on what was going on.

I put a hand over Cheryl's mouth and she said "What the hell are you doing?"

"Oh shit" said Veronica.

I ignored Cheryl and I snaked my arm around her waist and hugged her as she closed her eyes and kind of screamed.

Betty literally left and Veronica patted Cheryl's shoulder.

Veronica gave Cheryl a bottle of water and I said "Did that help?" I asked.

"Bet you just made it 10 times worse" said Veronica.

"N-n-no it didn't" she said.

"Okay Cheryl you need to chill. I know you're..... okay you just need to calm down" I said.

"Toni just take me home" she said.

"Okay..." I said.

I grabbed my stuff and walked Cheryl outside.

"Hey Toni what's up? What wrong with-"

"Nothing. Everything's fine" I said.

I drove Cheryl home and when she got off she said "Sorry."

"For what? You didn't do anything" I said.

"For being-"

"Cheryl it's fine but a bit weird. Let's just be friends first okay?" I asked.

"Okay."
