Yoongi can't help but avoid Hoseok. He thought about what happened, and he doesn't want Hoseok to be his caregiver. He knows Hoseok is a fuckboy. He doesn't want to be just some toy. He knows how easy he gets attached and he doesn't want to get hurt.
But Hoseok is so hard to avoid. It's been a week. Yoongi did convince Jimin to tell Hoseok he is busy when he comes to the house. Jimin wants to know why, but Yoongi won't tell him. That makes the younger feel like something bad happened.
Hoseok starters bothering him when he was at the bookstore. He would talk to him and try to get him to slip into headspace. Yoongi refuses to and remained quiet and continued to play the piano.
Yoongi doesn't understand why Hoseok wants him in headspace. He thinks maybe it's because Hoseok find him more vulnerable. He can't help but think Hoseok might take advantage of his littleness.
Yoongi is sat at the piano. He plays a song from a song book he found. It's a little slow and old fashioned. He finds it soothing. He's probably been in the shop for a few hours at most. He just loves the peaceful quietness of the piano.
He hears shuffling behind him. He assumes it's Hoseok again so he just continues to play. His fingers dance on the keys until the song comes to an end. He turns around and sees Namjoon sitting in a chair.
"Oh, Hyung, hi?" Yoongi says.
"Hey, do you want me to walk you home?" Namjoon asks.
"Uh, why?" Yoongi asks.
"It's almost eight," Namjoon says. "I didn't know if you were comfortable by yourself this late in Seoul yet."
Yoongi looks at his phone. He had a few messages and missed calls from Jimin. And it is in fact eight o'clock. He mentally scolds himself. How could he be so dumb and not notice the time. He stands up and start to put the books away.
"I'm so sorry, Hyung. I know you usually close around seven," Yoongi says. "I won't waste anymore of your time. I can walk myself home."
Namjoon nods. He follows Yoongi out of the building. He runs off the lights and locks everything up. "So, how soon do you start school?" He asks, setting the security system on.
"I start late August. What about you?" Yoongi asks.
"I start in October." His phone rings. "Hold on." He answers the phone. "Hi Jinnie!" He says with a grin. "I am with Yoongi."
Namjoon looks at the shorter. "I'll ask him and text you when I know. Yup. I love you too!" He hangs up and pickets his phone.
"Jimin is at Taehyung and Jungkook's house. Seokjin and Hoseok are both there. They want us to come hang out."
Yoongi frowns. "Uh... I don't know." He still doesn't like being around so many people. Especially with Hoseok.
"Hey, whenever you need, I'll just take you home. We don't want you to feel uneasy. But it'll feel like that forever until you try," Namjoon says.
Yoongi bites his cheek. "Yeah, I guess I'll go."
Namjoon smiles. "Great. Have you ever been?"
Yoongi shakes his head. "No, but Jimin has.
"Well it's just a a short walk," Namjoon says. He starts walking and Yoongi walks quickly next to him. It's only across the street from the tattoo parlor. They go up to the second floor. "Hoseok Hyung's apartment is right next to Jungkook and Taehyung's."
"Oh," Yoongi says.
Namjoon knocks on the door before opening it. There's a few yells from inside. Yoongi peaks around Namjoon's body. Jimin and Taehyung are dancing to the music playing. Hoseok is laughing and recording it. Jungkook is watching with an amused look. Jin was watching, but when he sees his boyfriend walk in, he hops off the couch.
"Baby!" Jin says. He hugs Namjoon. "How's my baby?"
"I'm good," Namjoon says with a blush.
Jin kisses him before turning to Yoongi. "Hi Yoongi."
Yoongi smiles slightly and bows.
"Everyone is a little drunk. Jimin is such a light weight that I guess he's a little more than everyone else. But I haven't let him do anything stupid yet," Jin says. He winks. "Would you like something to drink?"
"Water is fine thank you," Yoongi says.
Jin nods and he takes Namjoon with him tot he kitchen.
"Yoongi!" Jimin yells. He's dancing against Taehyung. "Come here!" Yoongi shuffles over to him shyly. Jimin grabs his arms, making him move tot he music. "Dance!" Jimin says. His eyes are bright and happy.
Yoongi blushes and pulls away. He sits in a chair. Jimin shrugs off Yoongi's behavior and turns back to Taehyung.
Jungkook watches the two from the couch. He watches them rub up against each other and hold each other. He feels jealous. Also turned on.
Hoseok looks at Yoongi. The younger boys is just playing with his sweatshirt sleeve quietly. Jin brings him a water. He drinks some, but doesn't pay attention to anyone. Namjoon and Jin sit next to Hoseok, Namjoon in Jin's lap. Hoseok leans over. "How long was Yoongi at the book store?" He asks.
Namjoon looks at Hoseok. "Since around eleven. He really loved that piano."
Hoseok frowns. "He didn't eat anything?"
Namjoon shakes his head.
Hoseok gets up and walks over to Yoongi. "Let's go find something to eat," he says.
Yoongi looks up at him. "I don't need to. I'm fine."
Hoseok sighs. "Let's not fight now. You need something to eat. I can make you or buy you whatever you want."
Yoongi shakes his head. "I don't need taken care of. I don't want your help."
Hoseok is taken back by the fact Yoongi is being rude. "I am your Hyung."
"So?"
He huffs. "So. You should respect me. I am saying I am getting you food. Now what food do you want to eat," Hoseok growls.
Yoongi's stomach turns. He can't help but feel scared with him being so intimidating. And it's not in a good way. "I don't want to eat," Yoongi says. He closes his eyes and wait for him to be hit. But it doesn't come. He opens his eyes and sees Hoseok talking to Jimin, which is probably worse. Jimin will worry his ass off about Yoongi.
Jimin looks at Yoongi with sad expression. He stumbles over to him and sits on the ground. "Baby boy, why don't you want to eat," Jimin asks.
Yoongi pouts slightly. He really hates everyone. "I'm not hungry Jimin. Please don't call me that."
"Hoseok Hyung is going to take you to a fast food place," Jimin says. "Please be good for him, Yoongi."
Yoongi sighs but agrees. He doesn't want to fight them anymore. He stands up and goes to Hoseok. "Find, Let's go get food." They head to the door. Yoongi turns around as he gets his shoes on and watches Jimin. The boy is now sitting on the ground as Taehyung yells to the music.
"Is he going to be okay?" Yoongi questions.
"He will. Namjoon and Jin are our responsible friends. Jungkook is a fuckboy and Taehyung's a slut, but they had limits. They wouldn't do anything he says no to, and Jin wouldn't let them take advantage of him while he's drunk," Hoseok says.
Yoongi sighs and leaves the apartment. "I just worry about him, y'know?" Yoongi says. They walk down the hall and I tot he street.
"I get it. That's how Taehyung is too," Hoseok says. "Him and Nmajoon moves to Seoul a few years ago. He was probably sixteen. He was a very innocent boy at first, I saw him at parties every once in a while. He lost his virginity from some guy at a party when Taehyung was drunk," Hoseok says. "It flipped a switch I guess. He can't be without a sexual partner. We messed around for a while before I graduated and that's how I met him and Namjoon. Then Jungkook also started having sex with him. by this time Namjoon and Jin were dating. Taehyung kind of became a community whore of the school. He's a chaotic pansexual, so it's pretty much anyone who's down."
Yoongi frowns. "Something must've happened his first time," Yoongi says sadly. "That's how Jimin is, his first relationship was abusive almost. The guy had a hard time letting Jimin out of his sight. But they had a fight over Jimin having friends one night when I was at Jimin's house. It was stressful, but Jimin called the police in the end because the guy started throwing things at us." Yoongi looks at his shoes. "It didn't help that I slipped into little space to try to cope with all that was happening."
Hoseok points at an old fashioned diner. "You like shakes?"
Yoongi nods. Hoseok opens the door and lets Yoongi go in. "Where do you want to sit?" Yoongi asks.
"Booth," Hoseok says. He guides the younger to a booth in the back. "There, Nice." They sit down. A waiter brings a menu before leaving. "Whatever you want, I'll pay for it."
Yoongi looks up at him. "I don't want to spend your money."
"No no, it's all good," Hoseok insists.
"But you earned it-"
"Yoongi, hey. I work for fun. I like my job. But I don't need the money," Hoseok says.
Yoongi looks at the menu. Hoseok probably has rich parents. He scans the food. "Uh, what's the Famous Grill Burger?"
Hoseok grins. "It's super good. It's a burger, but with basically any toppings you want. It's the places specialty," he says. "That's what Jin and Jungkook usually get."
"I think I'll have that," Yoongi concludes. He shuts his menu.
Hoseok nods. "I'm getting streak."
The waiter comes back and takes their order. "And anything else? Shake?" He looks at Yoongi.
"We're good," Hoseok says. "Unless you want something else?"
Yoongi shakes his head and hands the menu to the waiter. "No thank you."
Hoseok smiles when the waiter leaves. "You are you polite. Seoul must be so different from Daegu."
Yoongi shrugs. "I guess. I lived near downtown so I'm used to city people. My mom just raised me to always be polite."
"That's good," Hoseok says.
Yoongi looks at Hoseok. The older has quite a few tattoos. Thy range from small things, like music notes, to large things like quotes or actual solar system. "You have a lot of tattoos."
Hoseok grins and looks at his arms. "Yeah? Do you like them?"
Yoongi nods. "They are nice. Do they have a meaning, or just for fun?"
"Well, some of them do. Some of them were drunken mistakes. I try hard to make sure they mean something," Hoseok says.
"What's your favorite?"
He laughs. "That's like choosing a favorite kid! But I definitely have to say this one." He turns over his wrist to show 'Mama' in fancy handwriting. "I got it for my mom."
Yoongi brings his hand to touch it slightly. Hoseok feels chills run though his body at the soft touch. "You must be close to your mom," he says quietly.
"Yeah, she was always there for me. My dad is a business man and is never home so it was just me and her."
The waiter comes back. "Here's your food," he says. He sees the food down. "And here you go." He sets a chocolate shake in front of Yoongi.
"Oh, we didn't order this," Yoongi says, picking it up to hand it back.
"Don't worry, cutie. It's on the house," the waiter says. He winks and says, "Enjoy your meals." Then leaves.
Yoongi looks at the shake with surprise. "And you said Seoul people weren't polite."
Hoseok clenches his jaw. "Well, they usually aren't."
Yoongi hums and starts to eat his burger. "Well, I don't really want a shake. You can have it, Hyung."
Hoseok shrugs and pulls it towards him more. "Thanks." Yoongi nods.
They sit in silence for a while. It's comfortable and calming to Yoongi. It shows him that Hoseok isn't too desperate to talk all the time. And Yoongi enjoys not talking. Having to keep a conversation him anxiety.
"So what are you majoring in?" Hoseok asks.
Yoongi shrugs. He swallows the food he had in his mouth. "Music and production. Writing."
Hoseok smiles. "Nice, So you're going to the arts college."
Yoongi nods.
"Sweet, that's where I and the rest of the boys go."
"Really?"
"Yeah, I'm majoring in dance, Jungkook is too. Namjoon is in music production, so you might see him around. Jin is in art, but also music."
"Taehyung?" Yoongi asks.
"Oh, he isn't going to college. Gag year. I'm sure he'll choose some photography or drawing thing if he decides to."
"Oh," Yoongi says. He's finished half of his meal and is now full. Hoseok is still eating his, plus the shake. "Uh Hyung, I'm full."
Hoseok nods. "Alright. Are you ready to go?"
"Aren't you going to finish?" Yoongi asks.
Hoseok calls the waiter. "Can you get a to go box? Two actually. And the check".
The waiter nods and leaves. He comes back and set the boxes down with the check. Then he gets out his notepad and pen. He writes something, tears it off and hands it to Yoongi. "Here, text me sometime." He leaves with a large grin.
Yoongi gapes at the paper. His phone number and name are on if. "Uhhh. Okay."
Hoseok pouts. His mouth shaped downwards as he pack up the food. "Wow, mister popular."
Yoongi looks at him. "Are you mad?"
He shrugs. "People have such a nerve in this city." He leaves the money in cash and stands up. "Let's go."
Yoongi nods and gets up. "Hyung, I'll carry a box."
Hoseok shakes his head. "No, I've got it." He looks at the paper Yoongi still has. "So, are you going to text him?"
Yoongi shakes his head. "I don't like people." He crumple sup the paper and throws it in the closest bin."
Hoseok smiles. "Aw, what about me?"
Yoongi hesitates. "You are good," he says. He blushes deeply.
"Thank god, because I was really hoping you didn't hate me," The older days. His heart smile growing.
"I would never hate you."
They walk to Jungkook and Taehyung's apartment door. Hoseok opens it and allows Yoongi to go in. The music is still loud. But no one is awake. Jin is asleep on the couch with Namjoon sleeping on his chest. Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook are all on the floor. Jimin lays between the two with his arms wrapped around Taehyung, but Jungkook has his arms around Jimin's waist.
Yoongi turns to Hoseok. "Should we wake them up?"
Hoseok nods. "We don't want them to be sore or something." He walks over to Namjoon and Jin. "Hey." He shakes their shoulders. "Wake up."
They both sleepily open their eyes. "What?" Jin asks.
"You should go sleep in a bed. We don't want your bed to be fucked up, old man," Hoseok says.
"Fuck you," Jin grumbles. He sits up, holding Namjoon still. "Come in, Joonie. Walk to Jungkook's room for me." Namjoon sleepily stands up, the two disappear down the hall.
Hoseok wakes up Jungkook. "Go to Taehyung's bed."
"Why can't I go to mine?" He asked, burying his bed in Jimin's back.
"Namjoon and Jin Hyung are sleeping in it."
Jungkook cusses But gets up. Yoongi gets Jimin to wake up by playing with his hair. "Jiminie, wake up," Yoongi says.
"Hyung? It's sleeping time," Jimin mumbles.
Hoseok manages to wake up Taehyung. Taehyung carefully picks Jimin up and carries him to his room. Yoongi follows so his roommate doesn't get dropped. But Taehyung sets him down carefully on tot he bed. He and Jungkook sleep next to Jimin with their arms around him.
Yoongi smiles and goes back to Hoseok. "I think they are good to Jimin," He says.
Hoseok nods. He thinks back to Jungkook and him talking about how they could have sex with them. "Yeah, he's not a bad guy. Let's go, we can sleep in my place."
They go next door. Hoseok's apartment has a lot of expensive looking things. "Wow," Yoongi whispers. He follows Hoseok to the bedroom.
"I only have one room available. So either you sleep here and I'm on the couch, or we can sleep together," he says. He gets out two pairs of joggers.
Yoongi frowns. He doesn't want Hoseok to have a hurt back. "We can sleep together. Your bed is plenty big."
Hoseok hands a pair of pants to Yoongi. "The bathroom is right across the hall. Here." He hands him a shirt.
Yoongi nods and goes to the bathroom. He changes and admires Hoseok decorating skills. Yoongi goes back to the room. Hoseok is slipping the shirt over his head.
Nice body.
"Uh," Yoongi says softly. "Thank you for letting me stay here and in your clothes."
Hoseok smiles. His pants are too long and loose on Yoongi. His shirt could basically be a dress. "No your good. Besides, you look fucking cute."
Yoongi smiles and blushes. "Thanks Hyung."
Hoseok climbs into the bed. "Comes on in. I won't bite."
Yoongi nods and climbs beside Hoseok. He stays a good distance away.
