To amazing opportunities and dreams come true.
To new friends and adventures and breathtaking views.
To heartbreaking separations,
A heart broken in 2 nations.
To achieving goals
And letting go.
To old fake friends, two-faced snakes.
To lies and hypocrisy and stupid mistakes.
To learning and forgiving,
From hate to mercy-giving.
To hidden treasures and gems,
To the realest, truest of friends.
2018 was hard, difficult and challenging,
But without it, there wouldn't have been any growing.
Here's to 2019
new beginnings,
new dreams,
new discoveries,
new journeys.
An ode to the old,
A greeting to the new year.
