I am sorry

I'm sorry I could never be what you needed

I'm sorry I could never give what you wanted

I'm sorry for dragging you down

I'm sorry for breaking you

I'm sorry for destroying you

No one needs to tell me for me to know

Even if they agreed, they wouldn't say

Even if I asked, you'd never admit it anyway

You deserve better than me

You deserve someone that gives as much as you ever gave

I'm sorry I couldn't be that person

I'm sorry for wrapping you around my fingers

I'm sorry for setting your heart on fire

I'm sorry for taking your time

I'm sorry for making you mine

I'm sorry it took so long to finally realize
