Jackson P.O.V.

"Good evening everyone. As you know we are all hear to hear the sides of Alonzo Chapman and Jalisha Hall. Accusations was brought to me and the board about them having a affair and relationship against house policy.

Linda Jackson is one of the witnesses that brought it to our attention. Everyone please take your places and let's begin.

First and foremost I'll like to say I've never had any issues with or out of Alonzo. I've known him for a long time. Even though he broke the rules by having a relationship with Ms Hall that does not take away from his work ethics. I feel that's personal and that should stay personal."

One of the board members spoke after Jackson. They gave their opinion about the situation. Once all the board talked the floor opened to Alonzo. Alonzo took a deep breath and he started his speech.

Alonzo P.O.V.

"Hello everyone. As you know I'm here for accusations of relationships with my assistant. I personally know the rule about dating within the company but in my defense I know for a fact that 6 out of 10 of you met your spouses here at work and married.

No one didn't bring you before the board. That's all. Yes I did have a affair with Jalisha. But that's my business. Melissa is present today. She knows about us.

Unfortunately it caused us to legally separate and soon to divorce. But we both have moved on. I feel that as long as our work is still perfect for working it shouldn't matter.

I attend to take full responsibility of my actions. That's why if you guys will excuse me for just one second. Jalisha I love you and my soon to be born daughter. I know we met in a love triangle but I wouldn't change a thing. I want us to be a family.

So with that being said (getting on one knee) will you marry me? I mean after the divorce is final but I still want you to be my wife."

Jalisha sat there with tears in her eyes.

"So what you say?" Alonzo asked looking up at her holding the box in his hand.

She smiled and said yes.

Jalisha stood and hugged me and I kissed her right there in front of everyone. Melissa was sitting with her mouth open.

"Seriously Alonzo?" Melissa shouted.

"You couldn't wait?"

"No. I couldn't. You're with Jason now remember."

The board talked among themselves. And said is there anything else you want to say?

"Yes Linda is just trying to play dirty. She is just mad because she wasn't qualified to do the job. If this goes in my favor I request the motion that she be removed from my floor or fired."

Linda jumped up.

"Fired?"

"That is what I said fired."

"How can you fix your mouth to say that? I've worked hard these 23 years doing my job well. All because I felt your relationship with her was unprofessional and affecting your job performance?"
