Mandy Tells It All

I stopped by to see Alonzo on my way home and checked on Melissa. I got to say that is a sad situation that they are facing. But my concern is my friend. Yes she cheated with Alonzo but she matters too. I overheard him saying he will protect her and come back to her. That's why I made sure I asked what he was gonna do with Jalisha. She is carrying his child. And she is his fiancé. I know she's on strict bed rest so I was gonna stop by and update her on the news I had.

As I got in my car and crunk up my cell phone rung.

"Hello."

"Hey girl what you doing?"

"Hey Jalisha just leaving work about to come over to your place."

"Oh perfect. I was bored and wanted some company. Alonzo didn't come home last night."

"Yeah I know. I saw him at the hospital all night and just now."

"He's up there still with her?"

"Yeah. Her parents are here too but they just got into this big altercation and he put her dad out."

"What? What about? You really want to know this?"

"Hell yea. I want to know."

"Well Alonzo was crying hysterically about things being his fault. He was like if he wouldn't have been selfish with you this wouldn't have happened." Mandy said.

"So what he trying to say? I'm a mistake?"

"I don't know so don't quote me on it. He just said he blamed himself. Her dad walked in on him talking and said when Melissa pull through he was gonna whoop his ass."

"And what did Alonzo do?"

"He walked in his face and told him he was only gonna tell him once that he spared his life one time but he won't again. He also said if he didn't leave with that he was gonna have him banned from her room."

"So he talking all that shit and taking up for her?" Jalisha asked.

"Yep it looks like that. But you do have to realize that they are not divorced and that's still his wife."

"I don't give a damn about that Mandy. Now don't get me wrong my heart goes out to her and that baby but me and Amira matters too."

"Oh wow y'all named the baby?"

"Yeah last night."

"Awww that's a cute name. But back to subject this can't be blown out of portion Jalisha. It will make you look very bad right now."

"And how is that?"

"I mean I get that you are his fiancé and you're pregnant but look how that happened. You was his assistant and mistress. And with this being a life or death situation what you think will be said?"

"Wait it's life or death for her?"

"Yes it is. She's got a 50/50 chance of living."

"Omg. I didn't know that. I thought it was just the baby."

"No it's not and that's why I said things are bad. Come open your door. I'm at the gate."
