"Hey mom," I said as I climbed in the car ready to go home.
"Hey, how was your day?" she replied back.
"Good." She couldn't know about my feeling. I knew she wouldn't believe me anyways. She would tell me it was just after effects of a dream. Once my brother was in we left and set off. My mom turned on the radio and I sang along.
Cable Car by The Fray
I never knew, I never knew that everything thing was falling through, that everyone I knew was waiting on a cue. To turn and run when all I needed was the truth. But that's how it's gotta be, it's coming down to nothing more than apathy. I'd rather run the other way than stay and see, the smoke and who's still standing when it clears! And....
Everyone knows I'm in over my head, over my head. With eight seconds left in overtime, she's on your mind, she's on your mind...
(That's not it, just the first verse and the chorus.)
The feeling of being watched disappeared when I left school. Only for a little while though. About an hour after I got home I felt it again. I wasn't sure where it was coming from but I knew someone was there.
It was difficult focusing on the homework I had to do that day. My mom yelled at me for being constantly distracted and distant. She made me take out the trash and I left the door open on accident. My dog took the chance to run out at a passing person who was walking their dog. My dog barked and barked and wouldn't stop. We couldn't catch her and she was making the other dog scared. Thankfully the owner of the dog had treats and calmed ours enough to the point we could get her.
"Thank you so much!" We all told the person.
"Haha, it was really nothing."
The thing was, my dog got out when I left the door open on accident. But what nobody knew was who got in during those few minutes. And that person would later change my life forever

Hehe so, who do you think is watching Devin and Misty? Who do you think got into Misty's house?
Any songs you want me to add into the story? Comment.
So I updated sooner because I'm sick today. I know the chapters are still short. It's difficult to write long chapters yet since this is the first story I've written in awhile... Yeah...
