After I finally fell asleep that night, I had more nightmares. Normally, I rarely even have the slightest bit of bad dream. Actually, I rarely even dream. Yet lately I keep dreaming about similar things. A dark cavern with only a faint glow of red to see. A dark stormy sky with no clear day in the distance, and even a creature that was no regular animal you would see roaring up at the skies. Although tonight, I dreamt of nothing similar.

I saw a chariot pulled by a black horse flying through the dark night. I saw monsters standing and waiting outside my house. I witnessed them crawling or slithering to the door and start banging on it. Then I saw a giant wave and they were all washed down the street and hit by cars. They disintegrating into sand and dust. Then I watched as it seemed like I was in the chariot flying away with other presences. I heard the clanging of metal on metal and someone scream loudly. The last thing I dreamt was the worst. I can't even explain what I saw. But it was terrifying and tragic. I woke up crying and sobbing loudly. I heard the pantry door creak close and a couple seconds later saw my door open, spilling light into my room. I would've been fine had it been my dad coming to see if I was alright. But it wasn't my dad. It was a girl with blond hair pulled back into a ponytail and an orange shirt.

"Misty, your going to have to trust me," she whispered.

"Why would I trust someone who broke into my house in the middle of the night?" I stiffly replied.

"Well, a couple of reasons. A, it was an order given to me. And b, if you want to get out of here alive and keep your family safe you need to trust me. And I didn't sneak in in the middle of the night,"she explained impatiently. "Now hurry up! Pack a bag with a couple pairs of clothes and anything else. Percy is waiting outside for us. I'm Annabeth," she switched the light on and left. Well, guess I'm going to have to trust her.

I packed my bag and thought about this. I was pretty sure this was real life. I pinched my arm. Ow, ok yeah this is real. I guess this explains the feeling of being watched. Then I remembered something. Annabeth and Percy were demigods in my favorite book series. If my dreams of monsters meant their world was real and they were coming to get me, does that mean I'm a demigod too?

I walked out of my room and waited at the door for Annabeth. I wasn't sure where she went but I knew she was wise. As I waited I watched the clock. It was 1:30 am. I started counting seconds. '1. 2, 3. 4. 5. 6...'

"Calm down, we're coming!" Annabeth teased.

"Wait, we?" I questioned.

"Yeah, don't you think if your a demigod so would your brother?"

"Oh right." Crap. I had already started making plans on how I was going to fit in at camp. I totally forgot about my brother and how it puts a bad rep on me.

"Hey Misty! Isn't this exciting! Us, as demigods! Isn't this so cool!" My brother Tom yelled.

I smirked, thinking about how the same reaction came from Nico in The Titan's Curse.

"Come on. We don't have time," Annabeth groaned as she walked towards the door.

Tom and I exchanged a glance. We heard a hiss. Then something was banging on the door.

"Crap! We were to slow!" I screamed. I was sure we were all going to die.

"Wait what do you mean?" Annabeth yelled. "You knew about this?"

"Yeah I had a dream before you came and got me!"

"Well tell me the dream!"

I explained as quickly as I could.

Annabeth laughed. "This is good. Don't worry we won't die. Percy's coming."

I smiled. So I wasn't going to die here.

Then we heard the monsters wailing and what sounded like a waterfall. Their screaming faded.

"Well, I think our rides here," Annabeth said. "Come on. Percy has the other one. We need to go."

"Other one?" I questioned as she led us out the door.

"Yeah, you two weren't the only ones here. There was another halfblood near you so we got all of you. You three are sort of old to be going. Normally you would be claimed by now."

I saw Percy and the demigod he went to go get. I stopped dead in my tracks. Of course! He knew there was something wrong. The other person who felt we were being watched. It was Devin.
