Talk.

Gee wasn't normal.

He didn't like when someone talked to him or if anyone tried to be nice to him. He didn't know why.

In school he just sat in the back of class and doodled.

His parents talked to the teacher so she placed him alone in a corner.

And when he arrived at the classroom one day, she said.

"I'm gonna change your places."

He looked down and started a new drawing because he knew he didn't have to care.

He took out his earbuds and pressed play on what song that was playing.

Suddenly and boy placed down a bench besides him.

He looked up and saw that the boy was no one else than Frank Iero.

Gee took out his earbuds. Soon, he figured out what had happened.

The teacher had told Frank to sit beside him.

"Hi. You know who I am?" Frank said and smiled.

"Of course, Frank."

"Yeah. We have been in the same class since first grade, Gerard."

Gee looked down at his papers and moved his pencil over it.

"You don't like to talk, right?" He said.

"Nope." Gerard answered without looking up, hoping that he would get the hint.

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay." Gee said and looked up this time. "I just don't know how you do it."

"Do what?"

"Talk. I'm always scared that I will say something wrong."

"We don't have to talk." Frank said and became very interested in something on his papers.

"Thanks."

We start through the classes without saying a word.

Gee didn't know if Frank thought it was weird, but he himself enjoyed the silence.

"Hey. Do you wanna come to my place after school?" Frank suddenly asked when they were in the last class.

Gerard didn't know how to react. He had never been to another students home. Not even in kindergarten. If it had been another person that asked, he would have said no. But with Frank?

"Sure."

"Cool. I wanna draw you." Frank looked at him with happiness.

"Draw?" Gerard looked up.

"Yeah. I want something beautiful to draw."

Gee went back to his drawing.

"Then you should look for someone else."

"Nope. I wanna draw You."

"I... I..."

"We can listen to music while..." Frank said.

"What kind of music?"

Frank really wanted Gerard and him to hang out so this was a hard question. He didn't want to scare Gerard away with his music taste. He could lie and say whatever hip hop songs that popped up in his head but with Gerard he wanted everything to be real.

"Punk rock."

Those two words made Gee very happy. That was his favourite genre.

"Great." He said enthusiastic.

"Really?"

Both of them jumped when the bell rang, telling them that they could leave.

When they arrived to Frank's apartment, he walked to his speakers and chose his favourite playlist.

Frank didn't have a big home so the music was captured but it felt nice. It was a kitchen, bathroom, living room and a bed room.

The walls were covered in posters and it was kind of dark and comfy.

"I'd like you to just be around. I don't need you to stand still all of the time. Do whatever you feel like, Gerard." Frank said and pulled out papers and pens from his bag.

"Are we friends?" Gee asked as he sat down in a couch.

"Of course. If we weren't, I wouldn't have taken you here." Frank smiled as he started drawing.

"I just... I haven't had any friends before." Gerard looked down.

"Hey. I need to see your face if I'm going to draw you." Franks said and Gee turned his face up. "It's okay. I've had friends before so I know what to do. It's pretty easy actually. Text them when you feel like it and see them when you feel like it."

Gee smiled.

"Wow, you're so perfect." Frank said and quickly put his hand over his mouth when he realized what words that had slipped out of it.

A pink blush spread on Gee's cheeks.

"Thanks." He said. "Can you please call me Gee? Since we are friends, I want something that shows it."

"Yeah, if you want so, Gee."

It took about twenty minutes for Frank to make the picture.

When he was done, he held it up for Gee to see.

"Nice." Gerard complimented.

"You think?" Frank asked. Gee knew small things that he could have done better. The nose was too big and the lips had a weird curve but he didn't want to say anything.

"Yeah I really think."

"Gee?" Frank said and sat down beside him in the sofa.

"Yeah?"

"I think... I really don't want this to be weird but I guess it already is. Anyhow... The thing is... I think I... I love you."

Frank looked around and avoided Gee's gaze.

Gee was shocked. He didn't know what to say or what to do.

"I... I guess I've never been in love." Gerard whispered. "But I can imagine that it would feel like this."

Gee was ready to get up and run home when Frank kissed him.

Frank's soft lips pressed against Gee's slightly chapped ones was the best way for Gee to tell about how he felt. Gee wasn't good at talking but the kiss said everything he couldn't.

The warm metal of Frank's piercing just made everything better. People might think that a piercing made kissing harder but Gee loved kissing Frank with it. It wouldn't be the samesame without.

They broke apart and Frank smiled at Gerard's confused face.

"Hi." Frank smiled.

"Hi." Gerard repeated as the smile grew on his face too.

Gee leaned in and this time he kissed Frank.
