(I mention a song somewhere in the middle of this one. If you want to check it out it is "Morning Light" By Palaye Royale. I doesn't fit in, ik, but you don't get to choose the songs on a dance)

It was the night of our homecoming.

This was supposed to be a night you would never forget. In my eyes, it was really boring. Everyone was dancing except from me. And there was no good music, just some kind of new pop. Everything were decorated with colors and there were a blue light over all of it. So I decided to leave early.

I walked away from the school and headed for the woods. I didn't wanna go home yet because if I did, I would be alone. Mom and dad was out having dinner and Mikey was at a dance. He was probably having fun with his friends.

I walked around trees and bushes and ended up in a clearing. I could still hear the music from the school. They were playing something slow. I decided to stay and listen for a while.

I laid down on my back and looked up at the sky. Behind the trees on my left, the sun was still giving the sky a purple shade. I looked at the stars. For two seconds, I got the idea to count them but I realized that it could take some time so I just watched them shine. I didn't know much about stars or planets but I liked the sight of them. And the deep purple/blue behind.

Suddenly, I heard something behind me.

I got up the quickest I could and turned around. Behind me was one of Mikey's friends. The short one. He had been to out place a couple of times and I saw him often by school when I picked Mikey up.

He had black hair and a couple of tattoos. I liked tattoos. But I was too afraid to get one myself. His suited him. He looked good. It's just a statement. I'm not gay. I guess.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know there was anyone here. I thought everyone were at the dance." He smiled. He had a nice smile.

"Oh." I said. "I'm... I don't like dances. I mean, why does it has to be such a big think to dance? Can't you just dance when you feel like it?"

I shrugged.

"Yeah." He sighed and I gave him a small smile. "Wait! Can you smile again?"

I did as he asked me and then made a questioning face.

"You're Mikey's brother, Gerard." It wasn't a question.

"Yeah. I've seen you with him but he's never mention you."

"I'm Frank."

I stepped a bit closer to take a look at him. I couldn't see what his eye color was but I bet I looked good. Just as the rest of his face.

God! What were I thinking? First: I were NOT gay. Second: I were NOT gay for my BROTHER'S FRIEND. I couldn't be. It couldn't be happening.

But he did really look good in a black button up and ripped jeans.

I realized that I were staring at him and turned my gaze another way as fast as I could.

"Would you like to dance?"

At first I thought that he was asking me but then, one second later, he answered.

"Yeah."

I asked him. To dance with me. I'm such an idiot. But he said yes. Maybe I weren't that stupid after all.

There were a live band playing at the dance. I had no clue what they were called.

Anyhow, a fast song was playing and I liked the rhythm of it.

Winter comes, skies to grey
It's the same old same old everyday.

I took his hands in mine and started to move slowly form the left to the right. Passing my weight from one leg to the other. He fell in my rhythm. I moved closer to him and our noses were two inches apart.

And where it starts is where it ends.
I feel your pain.

"This is weird." He said.

"Mhmm..."

"I think I like it."

"Me too."

He giggled. God, he was so cute when he did that. His eyes squinted and I couldn't resist to do the same.

So run the lights, catch a plane
I know you just wanna win.

I leaned in and kissed him.

I didn't know why, I just saw the chance and took it.

You see my friend
Life is just a game.

He stood absolutely still as I pressed my lips against his. He neither answeree the kiss nor he pushed me away.

I pulled away.

"Fuck! I'm such an fucking idiot. I'm sorry." I let go of his hands and backed off.

"I... I don't know what to say."

"I'll leave. But, please, don't tell Mikey."

"I... I don't know what to say because I liked it." He whispered.

I looked up from the ground. He met my gaze and smiled.

I bended down and kissed him again. This time I were more confident and he answered. He moved his lips and my lower was in his mouth. I could feel him smiling into the kiss.

Our bodies didn't move but our mouths danced. I could feel him asking for permission to enter my mouth. I opened up and he was inside. Exploring. I realized that he was the one controlling now. I carefully slipped my tongue into him. He tasted so good. Like cigarettes and something else I couldn't identify. I guess he just tasted like himself.

I pulled away and decided that either I would.stand there all night or I would walk away while I still had some self control left. I did the latter.

"Say nothing to Mikey?" I said it as a question with my mouth inches from his.

"Say nothing to Mikey."

I walked away.

When I was in the middle of the forest again, I heard him call my name.

"Gerard."

I turned around and faced him.

"Can I have your phone number?"

I looked around in my pockets to find that they were empty. I shook my head.

"I don't have my phone on me."

He pulled out a sharpie and grabbed my arm. He folded my sleeve and wrote down some numbers.

"Like that!" He said when he was done. "Promise to text me."

He looked into my eyes and I nodded.

He turned around and walked away. As he walked he shouted:

"Wash that off before Mikey sees it. He might recognize."

I stood there with lips swollen from kissing and watched the hottest person I ever seen, walk away from me.
