"I'm sorry Tony but he is my friend," Steve said quietly.

"Yeah, so was I.." Tony sighed sadly. The two fought until they could no longer. "You're nothing without that shield!" Steve looked at Tony who was below him and nodded, tossing the shield to the side before exiting, leaving Tony shocked. "No. . .no!" Tony rose from his sleep screaming.

"Hmm?" Penny said waking up. She looked over at Tony, "are you okay?" Tony looked at Penny before smiling and snuggling up to her.

"I'm fine honey," Tony kissed her neck and nuzzled up to her. She wrapped her arms around him caressing his hair. She knew he wasn't okay, this wasn't the first time he had done this. It was obvious the fight between him and Steve had gotten to him, the only one who could make him feel better was Penny. She understood the pain more than he wish she did. Penny wasn't sure how to handle Tony, but leaving him alone during his time of need was out of the question. She, along with everyone who knew them, knew that Tony was not okay and that he was suffered from PTSD. He could never admit it, he didn't want to seem weak. She cuddled him until he fell asleep, calming him down enough to close his eyes. She climbed out of bed and exited the room, turning on her phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey Penny, what's up?" Pepper asked.

"Tony woke up again, from another nightmare.." Penny sighed, "I'm worried, I don't know what to do to help him."

"I'm not sure, you are the only one I know who can help," Pepper sighed, "maybe you should talk about it with him."

"Yeah, I guess I will," Penny said, "I want him to be okay." She spoke to Pepper about what to do before ending the call and waited for Tony to wake up. She made breakfast and sat it down at the table.

"Morning," Tony said walking in.

"Morning!" Penny said smiling walking over to him kissing him before sitting across from him. They sat in silence before Tony spoke up.

"I'm sorry about last night love, I'm trying to get better." Tony said quietly without rising his head.

"It's okay, I understand but we do need to discuss this," Penny said looking up at Tony," this isn't healthy Tony, I'm worried." Tony simply nodded before looking up at her.

"I know. . ." Penny hates seeing that look on his face, it always makes her feel bad, "I just don't know what to do is all."

"Me either, "Penny said contemplating on the best option for him, "do you want to go for a walk maybe? Get some fresh air after breakfast. It'll help you think."

"Sure," Tony smiled. Penny ate her breakfast and rushed to get changed throwing on whatever she pleased. Tony completed his meal and went to throw on his clothes. Penny grabbed both of their phones and wallets knowing Tony would forget, she smiled seeing Tony walk towards her.

"Let's go," Penny smiled. They left for their walk, having a conversation that usually shouldn't be held out in the public but in this case it was fine. They held hands not caring if they were seen, they were already out to the public. Everybody loved seeing them together, they would be described often as perfect together and they couldn't agree more. They were known as the forbidden love couple, and they just thought it was hilarious when people referred to them as that. They decided to stop at a park and sat down at a bench.

"Maybe I should see a therapist about this, talk about how in many ways Steve has messed my life up," Tony joked, "who knows it could help."

"It could. . ." Penny said quietly, "not a lot I don't think." She looked around thinking about the best way to help Tony.
