Change In Plans

Chapter 10

Her P.O.V:

"6:50 WHAT! This cannot be happening! Calum in supposed to be here in like 10 minutes!" Thank god I had picked out, my outfit ahead of the time. A gray crop top and a foral skater skirt with my old, beatened up white converse.

knock, knock, knock

"Mom can you get that? Tell him to just stay down there, I will be down in a minute." I yelled down to her as I was straightening the last strain of my hair. I grabbed my white converse and my phone and started to head downstairs. I turned the corner and started to go down the steps and bang I ran straight into Calum.

"Sorry I don't watch where I'm going. I thought you were waiting downstairs?"

"I was but your mom told me to go on up to your room."

"Of course she did when does she ever listen to me" I mumbled to myself. I grabbed Calum's arm and dragged him to my room. I sat down on my bed and put on my converse.

"What are your plans for us tonight?" I asked Calum

"I was thinking we could eat and then go see a movie."

"What movie do you want to see?"

"Well Dylan O'Brien is in the Maze Runner..." Calum said with a wink.

"You're such a dork" I laughed.

"But you love that about me." I looked over at Calum and he had a big cheesy smile plastered on his face.

"Come on I will grab my wallet and we can go." I said getting up looking for my wallet. Then Calum got up and grabbed me by my waist and throw me over his shoulder and carried me down the stairs.

"Hey!" I screamed

"Hi" Calum giggled as he sat me down.

"Now I have to go back up and get my wallet."

"No you don't, you don't need it." Calum said shifting his weight to his other foot.

"Calum you pay for it all last time, let me..."

"Nope. Besides there was no last time, remember" Calum interrupted. Then Calum grabbed my hand and dragged me out of my house. Calum opened his car door for me . I got in, then he ran to the other side and got in and we drove away.

Calum and I were in the car after eating at Carrabba's, on are way to the movies, when I realized we were going the wrong direction to go to the movies.

"Calum I though we were going to the movies?" I asked Calum

"Plans change," Is all Calum said for the rest of the car ride.

"Calum get back here" I screamed chasing after Calum. Apparently Calum' s change of plans was to get me drunk in the middle of nowhere. Why did I agreed to it? I really don't know.

"How about we play Hide-and-Seek, I will count you hide." Calum said before downing the rest of this bottle. He started to count I was trying find a hiding place and I spotted a tree. I mean you have got to give me credit that I'm even trying, we are in a open field, there isn't many hiding places.

"18-19-20 ready or not here I come." Calum yells his words are slurring together. I hear him take a step closer to me. "I didn't actually think you would hide." I hear him take a couple more steps walking closer to my hiding place. I try to slow my breathing so he can't here me. Now it is completely pitch black and I can't see anything and I can no longer hear Calum.

"Calum?" I whispered. There was no response so I took a step out from behind he tree. "Calum seriously where are you?" I said talking in a normal vocie this time.

I started to run to where Calum was standing when he was counting. "Calum this joke isn't funny anymore, I getting really scared!" I yelled I'm in a middle of a open field with two trees which one I was hiding behind, where could he be? I staid tripping over all of are empty bottles, probably not a good idea to play Hide-and-Seek while being drunk out of are minds. All of a sudden someone comes behind me and grabs me and I start screaming.

"Shhh stop screaming you are okay, it's me, you're fine..." I had stop screaming, now had tears rolling down my cheeks. When did I started crying? Who is holding me? "... I've got you, you're safe."  Is that Luke? I felt safer now knowing it was Luke. Then I looked up and it was Calum. Why did I think it was Luke, I'm here with Calum I'm not supposed to be thinking of Luke.

"Are you okay? I'm so sorry I really wasn't trying to scare you that bad, I was just trying to pull a prank on you. I thought it would be funny. I'm so stupid, I always think I'm funny when I not," Calum rambled.

"Ya I'm fine, I just watch to many horror shows, I'm a little paranoid. It's getting late though I think we should head home." By now I'm completely confused of what just happened. I'm wasted right now, I just need to got to sleep and clear my mind before I over think what just happened.

When we get to my house Calum walks me to the door. Calum apologizes again about scaring me and I tell him it's fine again. I hug him and tell him I will text him tomorrow. I walk in side and all the lights are off and there is no sign of my mom. Of course my mom is gone to bed, she probably doesn't even remember me leaving. She probably doesn't even care if I come home or if I moved to Mexico. Who am I kidding she wouldn't even care if I died.

I ended up taking a shower and changing into my fuzzy pajamas pants and a tanktop . I crawled into bed and was beginning to drift to sleep when I got a text.
