38. He's The Love Of My Life

Chapter 38

Shawn's POV

"I'm in love with... Aaron" Olivia says. I just sit there my eyes wide open. I trying to act okay, but I'm not.
"That's uh... good, you love him that's good, I'm gonna go to the restroom" I say while getting up and leaving. I make my way to the restroom and when I'm done I see Camila. She comes up to me.

"Shawn go get that girl, I see the way you look at her you love her," Camila says and I smile.

"Thanks, Camila, you've always been a good friend," I say and leave. I have a big smile on my face. I look to go find Olivia, but I can't seem to find her. I go to the bar and try to ask the bartender to see where she went.

"Hey, do you know where a really pretty beautiful blond girl went wearing a light pink dress?" I ask the bartender.

"Oh yeah, she went out to the front," He says and I nod. I get to the front and see Aaron and Olivia holding hands. Then I realize that I don't have a chance with her... she's with him and she's in love with him, it's him that Olivia will choose it's always been him...

Olivia's POV

Aaron my hands and holds them for a while and looks at me with love in his eyes. Then he goes down on one knee and he takes out a box and holds it in his hands.

"So I'm not gonna say some cheesy shit, because these past months and years that we've known each other already describe the words that I needed to say, so Olivia Rose will you marry me?" Aaron says. I'm speechless I don't know what to do.

"Yes," I say and he has the biggest smile on his face. Aaron gets up and holds me and spins me around while kissing me.

Unknown POV

This is my chance for payback. I've been waiting for this since he broke up with me. I look at him he's distracted. I pull my gun out and I shoot him right in the chest.

Olivia's POV

Aaron and I hear a gunshot. We turn around and see Shawn fall on the floor with blood gushing out of him.

"I'll go call the ambulance, Olivia go and help him," Aaron says I nod. I run over to him, I hold Shawn in my arms. His eyes are still open, he can still make it.

"Stay with me Shawn, please I can't lose you again, just please," I say while crying so much. Aaron goes to check if there's anyone inside, but the all evacuated when the heard the gunshot.

"Shawn, I-I love you so fucking much just please, keep your eyes open, you're the love of my life and I can't lose you, I'm not ready, you're my best friend I love you my muffin man... I'm in love with you" I managed to say.

"I-I love you, Olivia," Shawn says quietly. I smile and I try to help him, but then the ambulance comes and puts him in a gurney.

4 Hours Later...

"I'm sorry Olivia, Shawn Mendes is... dead" The doctor says to me.

"No no no no no he can't be, he just can't be no no no," I say.

"I'm sorry for your loss," The doctor says while walking away. I stand there cold. Why? Why is this happening to me? This was supposed to be the happiest day of my life. But now the love of my life just died and I can't do anything about it.
