1. Where It All Started

Chapter 1

Note: I'm not trying to offend people, if you are sensitive to death, abuse, or bullying do not read this story. Also, this chapter is mostly about learning about Olivia's life.

Olivia's POV

"BEEP" "BEEP"

I got off of my bed and turned off the stupid alarm clock. Thank you for reminding me that I have school in the morning! Note the sarcasm. I got to the restroom, wash my face, brush my hair, and put on my clothes.

High waisted jean shorts, a flowy floral crop top, a Black cardigan, and floral vans. I put on mascara, and foundation to cover my scars. I go downstairs grab an apple, I grab my skateboard and go to school. I get a message from my dad saying that he won't be home tonight which always happens.

My dad and I don't have the best relationship. When my mom was here he was happy, but my mom passed away with leukemia when I was 5. After that, my dad quit his job, started to become an alcoholic and started smoking a lot and became very abusive. He started to hit me and started yelling at me. That's why I have all of those scars to cover I don't want anyone to know because if I do tell someone I feel like he will just hit me more.

And to top it all off I get bullied most of the time at school. I only have two friends, Dylan and Megan. Their great friends, but I don't have a lot of classes with them. I haven't introduced myself I am Olivia Rose, I am 16 years old, I am junior in high school.

Anyways here I am at school. I stop by my locker and get my books and go straight to math class. In the middle of math class, I hear my phone go off 10 times. My eyes go wide everyone is staring at me. I wonder who's texting me, I only text my dad.

"Olivia your phone should be off, give me your phone," My teacher says.

I don't like giving my teachers my phone because sometimes they forget to give it back I'm tired of it.

"No that's not fair that you get to go on your phone all the time when we're taking a test, and your phone goes off all the time so I don't think that it's right you get those types of privileges. Your phone interrupts the class all the time and the one time my phone goes off you take it away from me" I ranted. I can't believe I just said that.

"Olivia go to the principal's office" The teacher demanded in a severe tone.

I get up and go with everyone clapping behind me. Honestly, that felt very good to say all of that. I walked in and I'm a good kid a barely get in trouble, but this time I didn't care.

"Olivia, what are you doing here?" The principal asked.

"I got in trouble because my phone went off"

"You have seemed a little off lately I going to send you home"

"Okay" That's all I say, but in my mind, I'm like OH THANK GOD. I grab my skateboard and head back home.
