21. I Had To Make Sure

Chapter 21

The first one to notice me crying was Cameron.

"What's wrong my little baby?" Cam says. I don't say anything I just cuddle into his chest and let him hold me. Then he carries me into his room and lays me down on his bed.

"Tell me why you are crying," He says.

"It's my cousin Emma," I say

"What happened?"

"That little scene that we had earlier she doesn't like being embarrassed so barely right now she texted me that if I ever act like that in front of you guys again I will regret it" I explain while sobbing.

"Two questions What's the worst that she could possibly do? Also, why does she care if you act like that in front of us?" He asked.

"She has done a lot of terrible things to me in the past like one time she put me in a wheelchair just because I got first place in a stupid competition and when she sees hot guys she immediately wants them"

"Oh, so you think we're hot?"

"No she literally said herself in front of guys that she thinks you guys are hot," I say. Then I start panicking because I am remembering what she did to me.
"Are you okay?" Cam asked.

"I feel I can't breathe, Cam what if she comes back? What if she's after me right now?" I start rambling of all the stuff she could be doing to me right now.

"Calm down Olivia calm down," He says, but I don't I just keep going on and on. Then the next thing he does next leads me by surprise.

He kisses me. Honestly, I kinda liked the kiss but is that wrong because I thought I liked him like a brother I may be wrong. I thought he saw me as a sister. I am so confused right now. Then we break the kiss.

"I'm- I'm sorry I know you see me as a brother, but I couldn't help it, Olivia, I like you a lot and also I didn't know how to calm you down, but I guessed that calms you down," He says.

"I don't know what to say, can we talk about this later?" I asked and he nods so I go straight to my room. I just need some time to be alone right now. Then I hear a knock on the door, so much for trying to be alone.

"Come in I guess," I say then I see Shawn come in my room.

"Hey, I need to talk to you," Shawn says and I nod.

"Olivia... I really like you and after that kiss in the pool I just realized that I needed you in my life more than ever so Olivia will you be my girlfriend?" He asks with pleading eyes. I was not expecting that from him.

"Wow I feel special the Shawn Peter Raul Mendes likes me, but I can answer your question later?" I ask, he laughs and nods. I really need someone right now. I decide to text Jacob and trick him a little bit.

Olivia: COME TO MY ROOM, COME HERE HELP ME PLEASE.

Jacob: Oh my god on my way.

I hear him running up the stairs. I laugh a bit, Jacob is so protective over me its funny. Then Jacob comes into my room with a worried face.

"Olivia! Are you okay?" Jacob asked.

"I am perfectly fine," I say as nothing happened.

"THEN WHY DID YOU ACT LIKE YOU WERE DYING IN THE TEXT"

"I had to make sure you'd come," I say while hugging him, and we both laugh.
