Kenpachi Zaraki x Reader (Fanfiction)

Chapter 7

"Ah, finally some peace and quiet." you fell back unto you bed with a relaxed sigh. You were happy that there wasn't any training for you. Kenpachi gave you the day off and you were thankful. It had been a bit hectic for you since you became a third seat. You had to manage your regular duties and stay immersed in training with Kenpachi. It was hellish but worth it if it meant you wouldn't have to watch anyone get injured again. When Yuki found out about your promotion, she glomped you congratulating you immensely. Since then she had been working just as hard perfecting her skills. She was pretty hard on herself for freezing up like she did. So she dedicated a lot of her free time to training. She claimed she wanted to get as strong as you.

You were a bit speechless at her statement and just smiled supporting her fully. It was flattering that someone was actually looking up to you for motivation. The thought made you exceedingly happy.

After so much stressful days you were given a short break to cool your head. No one was going to ruin this for you.

"Kido-chan!!" you let out an exasperated sigh. "I guess I spoke to soon."

Ever since Yachiru had found out about your affections for her captain, she tried relentlessly to get you both together. She had really gone through the motions. She'd once stole your blade and hid it in Kenpachi's room. You went to retrieve it and ended up catching the male when he was about to take a bath. You recalled how hot your face had gotten seeing him without a cloak on, his ripped abdomen was in full view. Safe to say you never ventured to his room again.

You knew today was just another attempt on her part to mess with your raging hormones. You groaned stuffing your face in your pillow.

"Yachiru-chan I'm tired.." you whined. She slid open the door to your room plopping on your bed.

"I'm not here to try anything Kido-chan I promise~" you glanced at her from the corner of your eye at the innocent look on her face.

"Why do I feel a lot more safe when I'm around Kenpachi.." your eyes trailed to the side.

"Well the reason I came was, I heard Q-ball talking about the new hotspring we got in our barracks. " your ears perked up. "A-A hot spring?!!" Yachiru nodded.

"Yeah and it's clear right now. All the other members use it during the day, so if you want you can go now and have it all to yourself." she chirped. Your eyes lit up as you hugged her.

"Arigatou Yachiru!" she nodded." I know how tired you are from all that work so I thought I'd help you out." You gave her a peck on the cheek bouncing away happily. "I really owe you one!!" you called running off.

Yachiru snickered to herself when you disappeared. "Have fun Kido-chan~"

~Squad eleven~

You walked through the barracks with a broad smile. You passed a couple reapers waving happily. They greeted you, already accustomed to your visits since you were always training with Kenpachi.

Ikkaku and Hisagi were talking to each other, catching a glimpse of you from farther ahead.

"Was that (Y/N)-san" Ikkaku questioned. Hisagi nodded. "Yeah, and it looks like she was heading to the hot springs." the bald reaper shook his head. "That's crazy, everyone knows Kenpachi uses it at night."

~Hot springs~

When you got inside you placed you sword and clothes safely in the other room before moving to the calming waters. You slid the door open to the bath with a sigh feeling the heat. Stripping out of the towel you stepped into the water letting out a breath. When your body sank into the water your cheeks flushed. You smiled relaxing in the water feeling your body slowly unwind.

"This feels amazing..." you giggled, elated that you had it all to yourself.
