A rude question

When Ryan, Liam, and Chubs come back Liam didn't look as angry as he had.

"Listen Sasha, I realized I've been kinda rude and I'm sorry. I just don't want us to end up in a camp like that again. By the way I never asked who's the green and where is she?" Liam asked me looking around.

"Her name is Layla and she's with Zu teaching her about flowers." I said pointing to them with my gloves barely moving. I get up and hop on my left foot to get to Layla. Ryan ran to my side to help me walk. I could overhear Chubs and Liam talking.

"Do you think they are dating?" I heard Chubs whipher to Liam. I rolled my eyes and grunted. "Ryan never mentioned dating her but maybe." Liam whispered back to Chubs. I looked to Ryan who must of heard them to. His eyebrows were drawn together and his nostrils flared.

When Layla looked she saw Ryan look angry she got confused. I whispered to Layla when Ryan set me down on a fallen tree. Ryan then walked toward the boys.

"He's not mad at you Layla, he's just a little angry because the boys whispered a rude question to each other."

"What did they ask each other?" Layla whispered back with her eyes full of curiosity. I could tell Zu was listening because when Layla asked she then looked up from looking for flowers to looking at me.

"They were asking each other if Ryan and I were dating and Ryan and I heard them." I said whispering into Layla's ear so Zu couldn't hear. Layla expression looked shocked and mad at the same time. I asked her not to worry and she grunted.

I was looking down at right foot. I had put the shoe I had in my hand back on and when I was done I looked up.

When I saw Ryan come back he still looked a little mad but less than he did. He looked at me and then I quickly looked down. He walks over to sit down on the tree with me. He started talking to me but in a normal voice and not a whisper.

"Does your foot hurt?" He asks me but then whispers in my ear "Did you hear them?"

I nod my head and say yes but I still haven't looked up from looking down.
