The Darkest Time

Shopping time

When we walk into the store we find stuff. A bunch of stuff was taken but a lot of stuff was still there. We all walked to the clothing section and there was a bunch of clothes still there. 

Zu found white leggings and a gigantic black hoodie. Liam found tan jeans, a blue shirt, and a hoodie. Chubs found a brownish shirt, sweatpants, and a blue/white jacket. Ryan found a grey shirt, blue jeans, and a black jacket. Layla found a white shirt with the words 'make your own path' in blue, black leggings, and a black/pink jacket. I found a yellow short-sleeved blouse, black jeans, and a black hoodie. We all found shoes so we didn't have to wear psi shoes anymore.

Once we were done clothes shopping we went to look for supplies. We found backpacks and food and some other stuff to put into the van. We were so tired by the end of the day we stayed the night. I was worried people would be in the stores still gathering stuff but this store had nobody in it except the 6 of us. I told Zu a story that I had read a long time ago before she went to bed. I told her about the book 'divergent'. Divergent reminded me of what's happening now. There are 5 factions in the story and 5 colors with us. The problem is divergent wasn't a faction it was something dangerous and special.  With us the oranges and reds are the most dangerous and they are apart of the colors. Another problem was that people could choose what faction they wanted to join. We are given these powers and are stuck with them and we can't change what color we are. I stopped telling her about divergent at where they new recruits jump off the train. 

The next morning I talk to the group. I knew Ryan, Layla, and I would have to separate from Liam, Chubs, and Zu soon. I just didn't know how we were going to separate. We would need to find a car and find more supplies to put into it. 

"How are we going to do this?" I started to tell the group, "We need to find another car and more supplies." 

"Ryan, Chubs, and I will get another car. Layla, Zu, and you will grab supplies for your car." Liam replied to me. We all nodded and left. 

The boys left an hour later so us girls stated to grab more items. We had a lot of stuff for the van so we went to the pile of the stuff. When we grabbed it we decided to put it in the van the day we were leaving. We grabbed some food items and toys from that pile. I also grabbed a some books and art supplies. Layla grabbed the clothes Ryan, her, and I picked out. 

Zu found some notebooks to write in and some pencils. She wrote to Layla and I "Don't leave me plz Layla, and Sasha. I will be the only girl and that's not fun."  Layla and I hugged her and reassured her we would see her again but we didn't know if we would. We went back to looking for supplies.
