Chapter six

I sat in on a bench waiting for Emiko to show up. I was excited to see my old friend. I didn't know what to expect from my old friend. I saw a girl walking up the sidewalk. It looked like Emiko but she had long blond hair.

"Kira, you look the same as always!" She said.

"Emi, you look...different." I said shocked. She wore all black. She looked so different then she did before.

"Yeah I guess it's been awhile since we last saw each other." She said. She had the same sweet sound in her voice and the same dim hazel eyes. ' There is no way this could be Emiko!! Emiko always wore pink and other bright colors. If I ask her what happen she might feel hurt but if I don't say anything that might make her feel insulted, what do I do?' I thought. She gave me a smile.

"There is this cute coffee shop up this road. We should go and talk." She laughed.

"Totally." I said. We started to walking up the street to the coffee shop. We walked in and she went to order sometime for us to drink. I found a seat at a table and sat down. She came back with two peppermint tea's.

"A midnight light tradition that we must honor." She said putting the tea's down.

"Thanks." I said.

"No problem. You know it's a shame... I mean falling out of touch with each other after Rin pasted. I wanted to call you so many time but you were a solo singer and a famous one at that. I didn't know if I could even get in touch with you." She said.

"Did you keep singing?" I asked.

"Yeah, I got a good job singing at a local shop near my place." She said.

"That's great. Where do you go to school?" I asked.

"Actually I go to school at Ouran public school. What about you? Oh sorry I forgot that you're famous." She said laughing.

"I do go to school. I go to Ouran Academy." I said.

"That sounds soooo fun!! Do you have a boyfriend? I bet he's super cute!" Emiko said giggling.

"No I don't have a boyfriend. What about you?" I asked.

"I have three." She said.

"Are they cute little miss popular?" I asked.

"Of course and they're all older." She said. I laughed at her remark.

"Sounds just like you." I giggled.

"If Rin were here she would say something about how it's proper to only have one boyfriend. She always was like that." Emiko said trying to smile.

"Have you seen her family since?" I asked.

"No. I tried but after she died her parents locked the gates and her brother left to Europe." She said.

"That's too bad. I would love to see them again." I smiled.

"Kira, why did you go back to public singing?" Emiko asked.

"Because I couldn't keep living for her. I had to do it for myself. I wanted to try." I smiled.

"You so brave." She smiled. I pulled my cell phone out.

"What is Rin's parents phone number?" I asked.

"Why?" She asked.

"Because I wanted to call them." I said. She nodded and I handed her my phone. She dialed the number and have it back.

'Hello' The voice said on the other line said.

"Hello this is Kira. I was friends with your daughter." I said into the phone.
