The next morning Baekhyun woke up early and silently cursed the world for being a Monday. He laid in bed beside Chanyeol until the alarm went off, and waited until Chanyeol woke up with a groan and slapped it off. He yawned and stretched before peeking over at Baekhyun, who was already watching him with a small smile.

Chanyeol smiled too and softly pecked Baekhyun's lips before whispering, "Morning, love."

"Morning," Baekhyun whispered.

"How do you feel?" Chanyeol asked.

Baekhyun smiled thinly before muttering, "I'll probably barf the moment I stand up, since I've been fighting it back . . ."

Chanyeol gasped as he sat up and quickly grabbed the little trash can he kept beside his bed. He passed it too Baekhyun, who took it with a grateful smile as he sat up and leaned over the basket. He coughed once and spit up, and took the tissue from Chanyeol to wipe his mouth.

He sighed before leaning back against the pillows as he muttered, "Sorry . . ."

Chanyeol brushed Baekhyun's hair off his forehead and muttered, "It's okay, it's better to let it out...."

Baekhyun smiled thinly before muttering, "And now we have to get ready for work . . ."

Chanyeol rolled his eyes. "Don't remind me."

Baekhyun giggled as he slowly sat up, so not to upset his stomach, and when he felt okay he stood up and began to put on the same clothes from yesterday. He huffed before muttering, "I should really bring some work clothes with me the next time I stay over on a week day . . ."

"Do you need to borrow something?" Chanyeol asked.

"I don't think your clothes will fit me," Baekhyun muttered.

Chanyeol shrugged. "Yeah, probably not, but it shouldn't matter too much just this once."

"I hope not," Baekhyun replied before he left the bedroom to brush his teeth before making a quick breakfast.

When they walked into the kitchen, Sehun was already sitting at the table with a bowl of cereal. Chanyeol pulled out two bowls and poured in a little bit of milk before the cereal, he passed a bowl to Baekhyun as he asked, "Is Yoora still asleep?"

Sehun shrugged. "I don't know, she's your sister, you're supposed to keep track of her not me."

Chanyeol rolled his eyes. "You don't have to be an ass about it, I was just asking a question."

Sehun shrugged and chewed his cereal before asking, "So Baekhyun, when's your first....ultrasound?" Sehun quietly asked.

"Tomorrow, do you think you'll be able to make it?" Baekhyun asked.

"Wait, you want me there with you?" Sehun asked in surprise.

"Well, of course, just because I'm with Chanyeol doesn't mean anything. There's still a chance this baby could be yours, and I don't want you to miss out on something so important," Baekhyun said.

"O–oh, thanks," Sehun awkwardly muttered, and then his cheeks began to flush embarrassedly and he quickly stood up before muttering a vague excuse about having to leave for work early.

Baekhyun and Chanyeol didn't notice anything wrong, and continued to enjoy their quiet morning together before they had to plung themselves into an eight hour shift of boring office work.

"Do you think they'll find out that I told you?" Sehun asked as he sat on the living room couch with Yoora, after Baekhyun and Chanyeol left for work.

"Not unless you tell them," Yoora muttered.

Sehun sighed. "I don't know if I feel comfortable with your plan. I mean, Chanyeol's my best friend and he seems happier than I've ever seen him so if we—-"

"Sehun, it's to protect him. We're not going to hurt him. He just has to believe he's being used before then everything will get better," Yoora said.

"And if it doesn't?"

"Then I rather Chanyeol's mad at me than in a toxic relationship with someone who's only after his money," Yoora muttered bitterly.

"That doesn't really make sense though, because as far as I know, Chanyeol hasn't mentioned his money...." Sehun muttered.

"Sehun, please, just do as I tell you and before you know it Baekhyun will be falling into your arms," Yoora said.

Baekhyun had just walked out of the bathroom after throwing up his cafeteria lunch that hadn't settled well, when his phone started to ring in his back pocket. He pulled it out curiously, and happily smiled when he read the caller ID.

"Hey, Baekbeom!" Baekhyun cheerfully greeted his brother.

"Hey, Baekhyun! So I was wondering, is it possible for me to meet your boyfriend today? I'm in the city so I thought I'd ask . . ."

Baekhyun smiled. "I'd love that! Um, I'm working right now, but I get off in an hour and I'll call you back. Will that work for you?"

"Yeah, that's perfect, thanks Baek! I'll see you soon, bye!" Baekbeom said before the call ended.

Baekhyun smiled and quietly muttered, "Bye," before slipping his phone back into his pocket.

Now, he didn't only have the promise of a home-cooked meal courteous of his boyfriend, he would have his brother too. Baekhyun smiled happily as he settled at his desk, his smile widening when he noticed the note laying on his keyboard with a mint. Baekhyun laughed to himself, and opened the mint before popping it into his mouth; Chanyeol didn't know Baekhyun got sick again, but somehow he still helped.

Baekhyun carefully unfolded the note and read the three words written inside, he smiled as he placed it into his top drawer before tearing off a corner of notebook paper and writing his own note. He'd give it to Chanyeol when they were ready to leave work, and until then, he settled at his desk and watched as the last hour trickled away before the sweet hands of freedom were pulling him from his cubic prison.
