As Chanyeol and Baekhyun wait for someone to answer the door, Chanyeol's mind raced with all the different scenarios to how this night could end —- it was fifty-fiffy either way.

It was another moment before someone answered the door, and both Chanyeol and Baekhyun inhaled a deep breath and prayed for something good. But those wishes were crushed the moment they saw the familiar stranger standing before them.

Luhan.

"Wh-What are you doing here?" Chanyeol asked confusedly.

"Yoora invited me," Luhan said.

"Ooh, did she now?" Baekhyun asked in a quiet —- deadly —- voice.

Chanyeol gulped and squeezed Baekhyun's hand as he quickly reassured, "Baek, I'm sure it's not what we think."

"Mmm, sure . . ." Baekhyun retorted as he glared at Luhan before shoving pass him into the apartment.

Chanyeol sighed as he followed after him. Things looked different from when he lived there, probably only because he didn't immediately see his collection of DVD's, but Sehun's video games. Chanyeol missed the place; he missed the late nights he would hang out with Sehun to have movie marathons. But at the same time, he wouldn't trade his new life for anything. He woke up every morning now laying beside the love of his life, and before he knows it, he'll be waking up to the cries of a baby and the reality of that near future is everything he's dreamed of having.

Chanyeol lead Baekhyun to the couch and told him he was going to find Yoora, who was cooking in the kitchen. Baekhyun just huffed and crossed his arms before turning away from Chanyeol as he grumbled, "Fine, leave me then."

Chanyeol sighed and muttered, "Baek, I'll be right back, just . . ."

"I am not talking to Luhan, so don't even suggest it, Park Chanyeol," Baekhyun snapped.

Chanyeol sighed. "Okay, okay, just-just be nice? Please?"

"I make no promises," Baekhyun retorted.

Chanyeol just rolled his eyes and exhaled in exhaustion before making his way into the kitchen, were Luhan and Yoora were talking in hushed voices. Chanyeol caught a snippet of their conversation before they realized he was in the room, and then Luhan smiled thinly before leaving the room.

Chanyeol watched Luhan leave before turning his attention to his sister, as he said, "I don't mean to sound rude, . . . but why is Luhan here?" Chanyeol quietly asked.

Yoora stopped what she was doing before turning around to meet her brother's disappointed gaze, and fighting back her emotions, she said, "I invited him for dinner. It was before you asked to come over, Chanyeol. I meant it when I promised to stay out of your relationship, Luhan being here is just a coincidence."

"Then if he's such a coincidence, why didn't you tell me he was going to be here? I would have rescheduled, Yoora. You know how Baekhyun feels about what you tried to do, so why are you pushing your luck?" Chanyeol demanded.

Yoora pursed her lips and snapped, "Chanyeol, I was not going to cancel on my friend just to please your boyfriend! If he has a problem then he can leave, or he can just keep quiet and deal with it!"

Chanyeol exhaled in frustration before squeezing the bridge of his nose, and inhaling, he said, "Okay, you do realize Baekhyun's pregnant and very moody, don't you? So if he chooses to bite your head off I'm staying out of it because for one, I don't want to piss him off; and two, his couch hurts my back."

Yoora narrowed her eyes and huffed, "You're such a coward, Chanyeol!"

"He might be carrying my baby, Yoora. I'm not going to make him mad," Chanyeol said.

"So you're just going to throw your sister under the bus? You're such a sweet brother," Yoora retorted sarcastically, with a roll of her eyes.

Chanyeol rolled his eyes too, and grumbled, "I am not going to be a part of this, and you will not succeed in making me feel guilty for that!"

"Ugh, go away! I don't want to talk to you," Yoora huffed.

"Gosh, you're so frustrating!" Chanyeol cried before leaving the kitchen.

When he walked back into the living room, Baekhyun was sitting on the couch and Sehun was beside him. Chanyeol smiled, his frustration immediately melting away as relief quickly took its place. He was happy Baekhyun and Sehun seemed to be figuring things out, but then he realized Sehun's hand was touching Baekhyun's belly and he frowned curiously —- and he won't lie, he felt jealous.

He walked up behind the couch and gently touched Baekhyun's shoulder as he asked, "What are you two doing?"

Sehun barely acknowledged Chanyeol, he just continued to press his fingers to Baekhyun's belly, while Baekhyun giggled before glancing over his shoulder. He was practically beaming as he said, "I think I can feel the baby kicking, at first I thought it was gas, but then it happened again and it felt like fluttering."

"What!? I missed the baby's first kick," Chanyeol cried as he immediately ran around the couch and pressed his hand to Baekhyun's belly.

"No no, Chanyeol, I don't think you'll actually be able to feel it yet. I'm just saying, I think I can feel the baby," Baekhyun explained with a smile.

"Yeah, I think you're right. I don't feel anything...." Sehun muttered with an obvious pout.

Baekhyun smiled and rubbed his shoulder as he said, "Don't be sad, I'm sure you'll get to feel the baby soon enough."

"I hope so . . ." Sehun replied.

Chanyeol pouted too and muttered, "Next time, I better actually be able to feel the baby."

Baekhyun just giggled as Yoora walked into the living room, and said, "Dinner is ready, can someone tell Luhan?"

Dinner was an interesting affair, things were still tense between Chanyeol and his sister, but in the few moments Sehun and Baekhyun had bonded over the baby, it brought them close again. It was suddenly as if all the problems of their past had been wiped away, and they were enjoying the prospect of having a child together as they should have been the past fifteen weeks.

When Luhan came over for dinner, it was under the pretenses to meet Sehun, but now that he was talking to Baekhyun again he saw his chances of success drop gradually. When Yoora had told Luhan about Sehun, he accepted the possibility of him having a baby with Baekhyun and understood the situation. But now that they were talking again, and he didn't appear to be left behind, Luhan wished he had never agreed to dinner. For he, much like Yoora, just wanted the long night to end.
