New Little Friend

3rd p.o.v.

Few hours has passed, and all she can do is trying to get in control of her legs back. She look at the sun as it's about to disappeared into the horizon and began to panic.

Oh god what should I do? I can't move my legs and I can't go anywhere.
(Y/N) said in her mind.

The dolphins have begun their patrol. Some of it stay not far from where (Y/N) and Toni were to keep watch. She didn't know what to do. She tried to move her legs slowly, and was so happy that she could take control of her legs back. Without waiting any longer, slowly, she tried to wake up. Again, she done it successfully.

Yes! Thank you for cooperating with me, my legs!  she said in her mind.

She look to her surroundings and tried to walk inside the woods. She took a step further to the forest. But the sun already disappeared into the horizon, making her surroundings completely dark. She choose to walk back to where Toni is, while bringing the coconut tree leaves that fall to the ground and some fruits.

Well, maybe I can make some buckets from this leaves.  she said in her mind.

Time has passed, and the night finally come. While making a bucket, (Y/N) noticed Toni squirming, slowly began to wake up. He rubbed his throbbing forehead where the coconut tree fell straight to his head.

"Ugh... What's just happened?" Toni said, rubbing his head. He thought he would get an answer, but none. The darkness already covering the view.

"(Y/N)? (Y/N) where are you?" Toni asked, his hands flying in the air, hoping that he could touch someone, and that is (Y/N).

She straighten her hand, touching one of his hand.

"Oh! W-who's there?!" Toni tensed. (Y/N) unsure of what she should do to make him recognize her. An idea popped in her head.

She bring his hand to her head. Toni tried to proceed of what he feels. A soft strand of something like thread. A hair, a (H/L <hair lenght>) hair hanging from the top of where he touch before. Then, a face. He stroke part of her face using his thumb. Then, he moved his hand down, feeling a familiar fabric. A shirt, and it's his. By then, he recognize who he touch. He move his hand back to her face.

"(Y/N)? Is that you?" Toni asked.

She can only nodded her head.

"What happened? Why you didn't wake me up?" he asked, but he didn't get any answer from her.

"(Y/N)? Can you say something?" Toni asked, concern clearly heard from his voice.

Then, he felt her shook her head.

"Oh no," Toni said, feeling that she lowered her head. He wanted to help. But to survive in this cold night is his priority right now.

"Let's figure out how to make your voice back later. Now, let us make some fir- oh but how can we make a fire? We don't have any woods."

Another idea popped in her head. Toni didn't notices that her eyes are gleaming in the darkness, until he saw a pair of eyes staring at him, which is scaring him.

"W-w-w-why are you staring at me? (Y/N), i-i-is that really y-y-you?" Toni stuterred, trying to get away but his hand still being held with her.

(Y/N) lead his hands to her eyes. At first, Toni didn't understand what she meant. He tried to make notion.

"You mean, you will be my eyes?" Toni asked, and she nodded.

"Well, I think it would be helpful with your gleaming eyes. You can see clear in the dark?" Toni said casually. She didn't know what he was talking about but she nodded anyways. He began to wake up and clean himself from the sand.
