Meeting The New Crew

That morning, I have the most happiest day in my life, knowing that I reunited again with my family. Alfred, Matthew, they are all grown up man now. They have become a dependable and strong young man. For Peter, I have heard everything what happened about my condition, the potion, and his missunderstanding with Mattie. I tried to explained it to him carefully while letting him sat in my lap and stroke his head gently. I have learned that he indeed just a child, throwing his legs in the air while I petted his head. Kinda cute to be honest. I just wish that he is my child.

But then, reality struck me. He is the Pirate King little brother, Arthur Kirkland. I don't know what happened in the past between them. But it seems strong enough to make Peter don't want to talk or even see them. Well, maybe I could help the brother to get along together. I need to get to know the crew first.

"Knock knock~" I heard a very cheerful sound outside the room, only find Feli, which I know from Mattie, waiting for my permission to come in.

"Yes, come in please." I said.

"Buongiorno, milady~" Feli said cheerfuly and I found him cute.

"Good morning too, Feli." I replied with a gentle smile.

"Ve~ I don't remember I have introduced myself." he walked to my direction, bringing the tray of food in his hand like a butler he is.

"Matthew told be about you and I want to say thank you for the hospitality you gave to him until now."

"Aah, he is a nice boy. I know how the Captain would treat a new crew. Good thing that he's a doctor, so Captain didn't do anything to him."

"I see. It's nice to meet you Feli."

"Piacere di conoscervi, bellissimo~ ah, mi a name is Feliciano Vargas. May I know your name?"

"My name is (F/N) (L/N)."

"Alright miss (F/N)-"

"Please, just call me (Y/N)"

"Va bene, signorina~ Call me Feli then. I'm the cook in this glorious ship and here are your breakfast. Since I did not know your favourite, yet, I hope you like this." he offered me the tray and put it on my lap. Goodness, it smells really good.

I took a sip of the tea and a spoonfull of the soup. It has so many seasoning used in this one soup and it really help my appetite. I took another spoonfull and watch him smiling.

"I see that my cooking suits your taste, bella." Feli said proudly.

"Yes it is, Feli. How did you find all the ingridients and the seasonings? Most people really don't pay attention for the taste but this is wonderful." I compliment him as I took another sip.

"It seems like Captain really now how to treat a lady."

"What do you mean?"

"While you're still sleeping, Captain decided to take a little rest on a small tropical island. There, he spent quite a lot of money to just buy seasonings, herbs, and of course his favourite tea."

"Did you... you know, like all pirates do when they rest on an island."

"Oh no no no, we are not that kind of pirate, bella. We don't blankly attacked innocent people and took everything they have. Besides, we have our own sellers and connections in almost every continents and islands. Except that cold lands."

"I see. It seems like your crew is quite different."

"Indeed we are, bella. A Pirate King is just a title he gets from being a ruthless pirate. Indeed he is. But not always like that. He's a kind person most of all. Only a bit harsh, cold, and selfish. We understand him."
