Seldom did the blessing of Gods showered as rain on those barren lands
Lands that had been parched and withered
But as monsoon were moving away without the sign of rain
It came
It came as if finally the gods took notice of a dying land
The rains knocked on every windows and doors
It drenched everything in its path and swept everything in joy
Many hearts fluttered and danced to the first showers of monsoon
Bodies came together to soak in the surprise from the gods
Locked in the pain of yet another lost love
A girl opened both her heart and windows to God's shower
Absorbing the magic of rain, she gave the tiny droplets a hand
But the showers won't come to her, so she took her steps to the outside world
unshielded against the showers and prying eyes, she stepped into the rain
Danced and swayed herself to the tune of the rain
till her eyes stumbled upon another body that swayed unhinged in the rain
Both their eyes locked and understood the prevalence of pain in them
so each let the other reap in the pleasures and joy brought by the rain
and thus they swayed and danced to the tune of the rain until the last drop
People who chose to ran back to their shelters might have not noticed
But the blessing of the Gods to the dry land came with another blessing
as two hearts broken by the pain of unrequited love had finally find solace
For two hearts had finally found love in the rain
