An Inspired Story

Hope Needed

I wrote this in the car on my way to France, with the rain being all depressing and what not, so sorry if it's awful.

Lights flash dizzyingly,

Spray shining brilliantly,

Cars drive by obliviously.

Ignorant to the helpless,

Ignorant to the hapless,

Ignorant to the hopeless.

Workers telling a lie,

Children saying goodbye,

Animals staying by.

The wanderers and the lost,

Forgotten and forlorn,

Ignored and banished.

They are the hopeless.

The ones who need hope,

Are the ones who were told a lie.
