『 REAL LIFE 』

"Fred... He had this whole plan envisioned in his mind on how he was going to get Roger and I together."

"I remember."

Although he retired and kept his life private, John Deacon still kept in touch with the woman. Gisele would be there for him and he would be there for her. The other boys didn't know she usually visited him during the weekends when she would say she was going to a friend's house and disappear for a few hours.

"And now... " Gisele sighed, propping her chin on the palm of her hand, "I just wanted to be like Fred I guess. He got us together. He made us realize that we had something we didn't know we had."

"Do you think these two young people deserve each other?" John asked, looking at the blue-head.

"Would I be here on a Wednesday ranting to you about this couple?" Gisele grinned softly. Deacy shook his head, grinning at the girl as his wife saw the friends interact. "You'll love them. Her name is Leilani Adisa, a young 27-year-old. She plays me but the thing is that she's tall. Then there's Ben Hardy, original name Ben Jones—"

"Sounds like a detective name," Deacy giggled softly before he gestured for Gisele to continue as she agreed with him.

"Also a 27-year-old," Gisele continued. "They have a connection. I can see it. Roger and Brian, although there and helping me, well Brian just watched on, they can't see what I see. I see a couple. I see love blooming in the air when they're together. I see it."

"So you think blueberry and detective deserve to be together?" Deacy questioned, looking at the girl.

"Blueberry?" Gisele looked at him with a serious face as she crossed her arms. "Excuse you."

"The blue hair just reminds me of blueberries," Deacy said, shrugging little. "Even Brian said that blueberries are good so, don't take it serious."

Gisele chuckled, shaking her head. "I'm not taking it serious, Deac. It's just funny that's why. But, I actually hate blueberries so that's why."

"I figured," Deacy smiled. "You always hated it when people compared you to a blueberry."

"I still do."

"But you believe what you believe Gigi. You believe they deserve to be together, you go for it. Just because Roger's detective "son" has someone else that doesn't mean it's gonna last forever. "

"The shy ones are always right." Gisele stood up as Deacy followed after. "I need advice from another friend. But I'll call you, okay?"

"Is my advice not good enough to satisfy your questions Gigi?" Deacy grinned teasingly.

"I need advice from my closest friends," Gisele answered as he hugged him. "I need to see her as well. I haven't seen her for a while."

"Alright," Deacy hugged her just as tight. "Don't give up on them, Gi. Just give it some time. Don't stress yourself out because your plan is not working. It's not your responsibility to bring those people together, Gisele. It's theirs. You just need to remind them that you will do anything for them to be happy. I'm not making any sense, love, but just do you."

Gisele nodded. "Okay." She walked off onto the porch, looking at the man one last time before she got in her car. "Thanks John."

Deacy nodded. "Any time."

"So you plan on being a matchmaker like Freddie huh?" The woman smiled softly at Gisele. The blue-haired woman stared at the woman sitting across from her.

"I want to bring two people together that are naive to see that they have something there," Gisele answered, smiling at her.

"You both were always attached to the hip," the woman laughed. "Crazy you both were. But a nice heart. You both were crazy enough to bring people together even at pubs."

"We were good at being matchmakers. We just did a plan and bam, couple. But I feel like I lost it. I suck now."

"When Freddie was with me, he said, "Mary, one day Gisele and I are going to get people in this world together. I don't know who and when but soon. We're damn good matchmakers."

Gisele sighed as she looked at Mary.

"Damn I'm just here getting advice from friends just because of Ben seeing someone else," Gisele rubbed her forehead. "I feel like I'm going crazy."

"You've been crazy since the first time I met you," Mary chuckled. "But, you still have your spark on getting people together. You're just too into doing what Freddi would've done that you don't do the stuff you think is right."

Gisele nodded slowly. "True."

"That journal was for you and Roger," Mary said. "Not for Ben and Leilani. You four are different people so those methods won't work on them. Who did Freddie get his plans from?"

"No one," Gisele mumbled.

"Exactly. I know you feel close to Freddie when you read that journal but it's your turn to do something for yourself."

Gisele nodded, standing up. "You're great Mary. Really. Thank you, blondie."

"You're welcome, peaches."
