Ben and Leilani were laying down in her bed, her younger sisters sleeping in the other rooms. It was a little late as it was hard to put Ruby to bed, but Laura May thankfully helped them by staying with Ruby.

"Do you ever notice that you tend to space out a lot?" Ben mumbled sleepily as he and Leilani were facing the ceiling, hearing the soft murmurs of Laura May's song playlist while also being able to hear Gisele's song playlist which consisted of 70 to 80s music. Ben would occasionally hear jazz music as well here and there.

"I always do that."

"Or the fact you tend to just get this excited face is when you see something that you like?" Ben chuckled breathlessly, feeling sleepy. "Or that you scratch yourself when you get mad and I have to grab your hands because I know what you do to yourself? Or—or that you bleed from your nose when the weather is too hot?"

"Ben those are all just things everybody notices," Leilani chuckled, running her hands through Ben's hair. The man snuggled deeper. "But you tried. That's all that matters."

"You scratch your nose when you're nervous," Ben yawned, turning to lay down on his side to stare at Leilani. "You sigh more when you're hungry and irritated. You place your hair behind your shoulder when you are sad. You chew on your bottom lip when you're just anxious to know what is to happen."

"You notice that?"

"I notice my girlfriend," Ben smiled sleepily. Leilani smiled a little, hearing the song her mom loved. Let's Stay Forever by Al Green was the song Leilani grew up with. She learned to love it as much as her mom did.

They laid down in silence, each of them falling asleep and slowly closing their eyes. But when they were to fall asleep, Ben mumbled something under his breath that was loud enough for Leilani to hear.

"How'd I get lucky with you?" He questioned and Leilani felt herself let out a small aw as he was slowly falling into an abyss.

"I could ask myself the same thing."

Ben slowly closed his eyes, wrapping an arm around Leilani as he was in and out of it. He pulled Leilani closer, sighing happily. He nuzzled his face in the crook of her neck, letting out a sigh.

"What do you notice about me?" He questioned. Leilani smiled softly.

"You scratch the back of your neck when you're nervous," Leilani said. "You play with your fingernails when nobody doesn't give you their attention so you won't look awkward. You shuffle your feet together when you're bored. You scratch the top of your arm only when there's something bothering you."

"Wow," he let out. "That's impressive."

"Eh. I'm pretty sure anybody can notice those clear signs," Leilani shrugged, chuckling. "But we better go to sleep. I don't want the girls to hear our voices and wake up."

"Alright."

There was silence again and when the next song of the playlist started, someone dared to speak up.

"How many kids do you want?" Ben asked.

Leilani thought for a second. "I don't want a lot but the majority is three."

"Me too."

Leilani sighed. Do you think we will be together for a long time?"

Ben nodded without hesitating. "I have hope in us."

"That was a little cliché," Leilani teased, pinching Ben's cheeks as he lazily swatted her hand away from his face.

"Being a little cliché isn't that bad."

They both chuckled, fixing their position. Leilani was now facing the other side while Ben placed his arm on top of her.

"Goodnight peaches."

"Goodnigt."
