The cast had noticed the way the girl Ben brings is. She only talks to those she seems to be a big fan of while she occasionally brushes off those she doesn't like. But everybody noticed that the girl hated Leilani with such a passion while Leilani was too naive to notice (well she just didn't care).
"I need to go answer this call," Leilani mumbled, standing up when she saw that Ruby's therapist kept calling her. The boys stared after her, Joe and Rami staring at each other with concerned looks. They both rolled their eyes though when Vanessa kept rambling about what she was going to do later on.
"Do you think it may have been the issue with her younger sister?" Joe whispered to Rami as he made sure the other boys wouldn't hear what he questioned. Rami nodded before he stood up and he headed towards where the girl left. On the way there, he almost bumped into Lucy who was looking for Leilani.
"Hey darling."
"Hey," Lucy smiled before she looked around. "Have you seen Lani? Brian, Roger, and Gisele are looking for her."
"Joe and I think she received a call from Ruby's therapist," Rami answered, receiving a worried look from the girl. They both immediately headed towards Leilani, her hand rubbing on her forehead as a look of stress and a huge amount of sadness crossed her face.
"Thank you. Yes, I'll still be here. Okay. Bye and thank you again."
She hung up, staring down at her shoes as she breathed in and out. She let her hands trail their way towards her hair as she entangled the strands in her fingers. She pulled on the hair, closing her eyes as she held in the tears. The couple immediately hugged her as she wrapped her arms around them and for some reason, she wanted Ben to be hugging her as the familiar smell he always lingered of always soothed her. But she knew he was busy.
"What happened?" Rami asked quietly that could only be heard by Lucy and Leilani.
"My step-dad..." Lani trailed off, her tone laced with hatred. She shook her head. "He was the monster. My little sister, she... I can't. But, my sisters are staying with me while my step-dad and his wife are going to be in police custody."
"Are you okay?" Lucy asked when they all pulled away. Leilani smiled softly, nodding her head slowly.
"Yeah," she breathed out. "The important thing is that they're both far away from them. I don't want them to be there with them at all. I'll try to be there as much as possible."
"Talk to Queen and Bryan," Rami mumbled, rubbing her shoulder in a comforting way while Lucy fixed her hair and the tangled strands of hair caused by Leilani's fingers. "They will understand."
Leilani nodded, rubbing her nose as she sniffed. She headed towards the three members, Miami, and Bryan who all seemed to be talking. When Roger noticed her first, he tapped Gisele's side. Brian then looked at the girl as well, furrowing his eyebrows when he noticed the solemn look she had.
"Hey. Can I speak to you guys?" They all looked at her, nodding as they averted their attention at her. "My sisters are coming here due to an incident that involved my step-dad doing some inappropriate stuff to my little sister. I just wanted to tell you guys ahead as they're coming here tomorrow morning."
The Queen members looked at each other, nodding as Miami and Bryan told her it was fine. She smiled a little, nodding her head as she turned around to leave. But before she could, she heard Gisele speak up.
"We're here if you need anything Lani."
"Thanks."
She left, walking towards her trailer. She ignored the voices that were way behind her and when she looked over her shoulder and saw Ben with the girl, she just ignored it. She walked fast towards her trailer, not daring to make it subtle.
"Lani!"
She ignored the voice before Joe, who immediately catched up to her, stood by her side, offering a smile. She smiled sadly back, sighing. She felt bad though in a matter of seconds, so she turned around to face Ben who looked to be in a mood. She waved at him and he waved at her shortly before averting his eyes towards the girl next to him.
She shook her head, turning around to look at Joe who was rolling his eyes at the blonde.
"He's stupid."
Ben glanced at the two one last time, his eyes gliding down Leilani's body before he averted his eyes again as he felt guilt. He talked to Vanessa but it just didn't feel the same when he joked around with Leilani.
"Well dinosaur boy," Leilani linked her arm with Joe, "Disco needs to be fed again and he needs my love."
"So we're not going to talk about the way you and Ben are so awkward now?" Joe raised an eyebrows as they both walked into Leilani's trailer. "The tension between you guys is so unbearable none of us can handle it."
"I don't know what you're talking about," Leilani bit her lip as she grabbed the puppy from the ground.
"You like him don't you?" Joe smirked.
"He's with someone."
"You're not denying it."
"Shut up."
"Yes or no?"
"Fine. Yes!"
"Holy shit!" Joe exclaimed. "Fucking hell yes! I need Gwilym to give me the money. He fucking owes me. I told him."
"Joe," Leilani chuckled as she cuddled the puppy. "Calm down. Acknowledge the fact that he has a girlfriend."
"That's not his girlfriend dumbass," Joe said. "He's just getting to know her and I doubt he liked her."
"Hopefully."
