WHAT DO YOU SEE?

Look in the mirror, what do you see?
Do you see a small and helpless little girl?

Look in the mirror, what do you see?
Do you see a little girl crying and wondering what she did wrong?

Look in the mirror, what do you see?
Do you see a girl who smiles and laughs but deep inside she's hurting?

Look in the mirror, what do you see?
Do you see a happy and outgoing girl?

Look in the mirror, what do you see?

I see a small and helpless little girl.

Look in the mirror, you know what I see?
I see a little girl crying and wondering what she did wrong.

Look in the mirror, you know what I see?
I see a girl who smiles and laughs but deep down I know she's hurting.

Look in the mirror, you know what I see?
I see a girl who's happy and outgoing but it won't last.

Look in the mirror, you know what I see?

I see a girl who had to grow up too soon and too fast. Even for her. I see a girl who wants love but it's like she is competing with herself and others to get it. I see a girl who just wants no problems and worries. A girl who wants happiness and a drama free life. That's all she asks. But you know what she asks instead of all that?

She asks to have the mindset of not caring. She gets in trouble and will have a face on and will act as she looks. Not caring what happens to her. There's only a few people she really cares about and that are close to her but the circle is small. She's been through things a girl like herself shouldn't have to worry about but she does. Now that she doesn't have one emotion taking over her life, she's a sensitive cry baby and she can't help it sometimes. That's who she is now. She's sensitive but she's learning to let go and not give a darn-gone care. If this means she loses people in the process, then so be it.
