Field Trip to Home

The bus arrived at the very elaborate entrance to Stark Tower. All the students were in awe even though they'd already seen it before. Peter and Michelle​ were pretty used to the building at this point seeing as they spent a lot of time here working in Peter's lab.

As the group walked in they were greeted by an intern that Peter was very familiar with. Her name was Sasha and she was like a sister to Peter. It was a weird work type of relationship.

She smiled and shook hands with the teacher.

"Hey everyone welcome to Stark Tower where we make dreams a reality!" she said with a lot of energy.

"Okay so put on your ID badges," she chirped as she passed them out. When she stopped at Peter she smiled.

"Mr. Stark I didn't know you were here today! Do you need help or are you gonna help lead the group?" she said with her massive smile.

"Actually I am a part of the group," he responded sheepishly while scratching the back of his neck. She looked confused for a moment then she simply shrugged, "Well your lab is on the tour anyway."

As she walked away Peter felt nervous no one had ever been in his lab other then his parents, his sister and Michelle.

They approached the security line up and Sasha pointed to the guards.

"Okay scan your badges and you can enter," everyone scanned their badges and were declared, "Level 1 Clearance" by the AI FRIDAY. Peter didn't even scan a card.

"Welcome back Mr Stark. I have informed your parents of your arrival, also the board of directors are looking to meet with you shall I schedule a meeting for after school?"

Peter sighed then looked to Mrs. Walsh, "Can I just deviate for like a second?" She just nodded.

"FRIDAY schedule a meeting in twenty minutes and ask Happy to get my suit ready. Have my father meet me at the penthouse."

"Sir may I remind you that Captain Rogers is currently staying at the penthouse. After your last incident would that be advised?" responded the AI.

"Tell him to behave or I'll blast him I to next week," responded Peter. He gave a quick kiss to Michelle and walked off. But not before hearing FRIDAY announce her as Mrs Stark which left her shouting at the AI.

Peter chuckled as he entered the elevator. When he arrived at the penthouse he found his father waiting for him with a black suit and white shirt waiting.

"Why did the board want to meet me now, didn't you tell them that I was here for a field trip?" asked Peter as he took the suit from his dad.

"I did but they want to hear about your StarkBook Pros and the advancements that you have made," was his dad's answer.

"Can you grab my prototype from the lab dad while I get changed?"

"Yeah as if that kid could do anything worthwhile," said a voice from behind. Tony and Peter turned to see Steve Rogers looking unshaven and with some serious bed head. He was also holding a bottle of beer in his hand and stank of stale sweat.

"Do I have to remind you of what I can do?" asked Peter with a growl. Tony looked angry himself but remained silent.

"I lost my best friend because you couldn't​ bring him back. You cared more about him than bringing everyone back," said Steve with a sad voice and tears beginning to fall.

"I lost my best friend twice in my life," he said before collapsing onto the couch. Now everything made sense. He was angry over the death of Bucky! That's why he's been like this. He's grieving.
