Surprise...

-Time skip-(I'm sorry I gotz no ideaz)
It's the twins birthday!(let's just pretend I said that their birthday was on Veterans Day..) The school always had a morning assembly in the gym to pay respects to all the veterans.Dottie was invited to attend,along with the twins of course.She didn't know why but she still went.Once they got there the twins sat down with their homeroom class and Dottie stood at the side.The assembly started and it was just the normal why these veterans are important and stuff and why we need to thank them.But then something happened that sorta caught Dottie off-guard.They called the twins to the stage and started to ask questions.
[principal Moore-Moore(I'm lazy)]
Moore:So guys you know today is right?"
Bentley:"Of course,it's Veterans Day.But it's also our birthday!"
Moore:"Oh,well happy birthday!"
Everest:"Thank you!"
Moore:"so,what's up with your jackets? I noticed that they were military colors."
Everest:"Well,our Daddy is gone right now and he gave these to us for us to remember him,he said that he was gonna be gone so he could help other people!"
From the side Dottie felt some tears going down her face.
Moore:"WOW what a hero,do you miss your Daddy?"
Both:"Yes!!!!"
Then this happened which really confused Dottie
Moore:"Mrs.McKallister will you please come up to the stage,I have a surprise for you all."
As confused as she was ; she walked up to the stage and stood next to the twins.
This felt really awkward for them because the whole school and a lot of veterans and parents were watching.
Moore:"Well,twins can you help me with something?"
Bentley:"sure,what is it?"
Moore:"Well,I need to see if you can tell me if you recognize someone for me."
Everest:"Okay..."
Moore:"You can come out now!!"-she yelled offstage
Then what happened REALLY caught Dottie off-guard.
Blaze came out...(wearing his military uniform)
Her jaw dropped
Blaze:"Heyyy!"
The twins ran over to him
Both-"DADDY!!!"
The crowd erupted in applause
Dottie buried her face in her hands
After the twins gave him really big hugs Blaze walked over to Dottie
Blaze:"Dottiiiieeeee!"
Dottie:"Pupppyyyyyy"she said with a voice crack;her face still in her hands.
Blaze:"can I see your face please?"
She took her hands away from her face so she could hug him.while they were hugging Principal Moore started talking.
Moore:"Mr.McKallister was deployed for a year,now reunited once again with his family."
The crowd clapped again.Dottie was still crying.
Moore:"Hey,Twins"
The twins looked at her
Moore:"We're going to let you leave school early so you can spend the whole day with your Daddy!"
Both:"YAYYY!!"
At this point they were done hugging (still holding hands though)and they walked off the stage with the twins while the crowd clapped once more.
They left right away and got into the truck.Blaze put his bags in the back then got into drivers seat.
Once they were settled ;before Blaze started driving;Dottie punched his shoulder.
He looked at her confused
Blaze:"What?"
Dottie:"How long were you planning this?!"
Blaze:"Heh,uhh before I left"
Dottie:"What?!"
Blaze started laughing
Dottie crosses her arms and looks away from him.
Blaze starts driving
After a few moments of silence...
Dottie:"I missed you..."
Blaze:"Aww I missed you too,Baby."
She smiles.
Bentley:"EWWWWW!"
Blaze:"What?"
Bentley:"you-called her-EWWWW!"
Blaze:"Ahh,you won't think it's Ew later on when you find someone for yourself."
Bentley:"Ew never,girls have cooties!!"
Everest:"Oh shut up Bentley!"
She punches him
Everest:"I actually like it I think it's romantic!"
Blaze:"Thank you Everest! At least she's on my side."
They all laugh
-They got home-
They all sit down in the living room
Blaze:"Well,Happy birthday twins! I'm sorry I couldn't get you anything..."
Bentley:"It's okay!"
Everest:"Yeah! You being home is the best present ever!"
Dottie:"I agree."
She holds his hand and lays her head on his shoulder
Blaze:"Awww I have the best family ever!!!!"
Everest:"And we have the best Mommy and Daddy ever!!!!"
Blaze:"So,Everest,how has your sessions been going?"
Everest:"Great! I unlocked my idle form,and now I can,kinda,control it!!"
Blaze:"WOW Cool! What about you,Bentley,how've you been."
Bentley:"Eh,average,my life isn't as cool as Everest's."
Everest:"yes it is!! You have me as a twin! "
Bentley:"True!!!"
Blaze:"What about school? How's that going?"
Everest:"Great!! Mr.Zak even introduced me to another Idle wolf,His name is Kade and he's in 2nd grade too!"
Blaze:"Wooww!"
Everest:"and now he's our Best friend at school!"
Blaze:"Well that's great! Hey why don't you guys go play upstairs so I can talk to mommy okay?"
Both:"Ok Daddy!"
They run upstairs
Blaze:"What about you,Baby,how've you been?"
A tear rolls down her cheek
Dottie:"miserable... I got fired..."
Blaze:"Hey,Hey where'd all your confidence go?"
Dottie:"It grew legs and ran away...."
Blaze:"Oh Baby,it's okay"
He rests his chin on her head,
Dottie:"I did find a new passion though."
Blaze:"Oh really? What is it?"
Dottie:"Writing, I have some really good ideas and something about it is calming to me."
Blaze:"Well that's good!"
Dottie:"you know what I want right now?"
Blaze:"What?"
She looks up at him
Dottie:"I want a puppy kiss."
Blaze:"Don't have to tell me twice."
He pulls her into a kiss
It lasts for a while but then they break apart and Dottie stares into his eyes.
Dottie:"Oh Blaze."
Blaze:"Yes?"
Dottie:"I love you."
They smile
Blaze:"I love you more,Baby."
Dottie:"but,that's not possible "
Blaze:"Oh I just made it possible.If I'm with you,everything's possible."
She scoffs
Dottie:"Whatever."
She lays down on his chest
Blaze:"You know,your birthday is coming soon."
Dottie :"yeah,but it's the twins birthday today,why're we talking about mine?"
Blaze:"Because I just wanted to let you know that I have another surprise for you."
Dottie:"Why would you tell me that?!"
Blaze:"because I know you hate surprises and I want you to suffer in suspense."
Dottie:"Oh you're evil."
Blaze:"Muahahahaha."he laughed with a cheeky smile
Dottie:"your a mess,you know that right?"
Blaze:"Yup!"
They laugh
Blaze runs his fingers through Dottie's hair as they lay there ,laughing and talking about random things like some things Fabien did while they were gone,and some things that happened with the twins.
After a while the twins came back downstairs and they spent the rest of the day together celebrating the twins turning 8 years old.
