Your Not Alone~~A Blottie FanFic(Blaze x Dottie)

7 years later...

It's 7 years later,Everest and Bentley lived normal lives and were basically inseparable.
(since I've never actually told you their hair colors,now would be the appropriate time,Everest:violet,Bentley:red)
Everest and Bentley are currently playing in their room which was once the nursery,now transformed into their room.
Dottie:"Everest! Bentley! ,come downstairs please!"
They trot downstairs
Everest:"Yes Mama?"
Dottie:"Me and your Father have to tell you something..."
Bentley:"What is it?"
Blaze:"Well,Everest,have you ever wondered why your eye is red?"
Everest:"Well yeah,I kinda get made fun of at school  because of it..."
(they're in 2nd grade)
Bentley:"But-but I protect her! right Ev?"
Everest:"Yeah! your the best bro ever Bentley!"
They hug
Dottie had star eyes
Blaze:"Well anyways,we're going to tell you why."
<>~After they explain everything ~<>

Bentley:"Is Evie gonna be okay?!"
Dottie:"Yes,she will be fine,she just needs to learns how to control her power."
Everest:"When will I go?"
Blaze:"Tuesdays and Thursdays after school."
Bentley:"Can go too? I don't want her to be alone!"
Dottie:"Maybe,but you would have you wait outside during her session."
Bentley:"Okay!"
Blaze:"Now,go outside and play with Ross,will you?"
Everest:"Yes Daddy! cmon Bentley,let's go!"
They run outside
Dottie:"They took it easier than I thought they would."
Blaze:"Heh,yeah..."
Dottie:"Are you okay?"
Blaze:"Dottie..."
Dottie:"Yes? Blaze what's wrong?"
Blaze:"Dottie I'm being Deployed..."
Dottie:"What...?"
Blaze:"im being...deployed.."
A tear trickles down Dotties face
Dottie:"F-for how long?"
He looks down at the floor as a tear goes down his face
Dottie:"Blaze...how long..."
Blaze:" A y-year..."
Tears spill down both of their faces
Blaze:"im so sorry! " he says while sobbing
Dottie hugs him
Dottie:"I-its okay,but when are you leaving?"
He looks into her eyes with the saddest face
Blaze:"On the twins 7th birthday...so next week."
Dottie:"Oh Blaze..."
Blaze:"How are we gonna tell the twins?"
Dottie:"Its okay,we'll figure it out.I just want to hold you right now.lets sit
down"
They sit down on the couch
Blaze puts his arm around Dotties Shoulder and Dottie holds his other hand.
Outside they see Everest Chasing Bentley with a water gun.
They laugh and look at each other with longing smiles.
<>~ A week later~<>
It's the morning in the twins room .
Everest starts shaking Bentley
Everest:"Bentley! Bentley! Wake up! it's our birthday!"
Bentley:"it is?!"
Everest:"Yeah! cmon let's go downstairs!"
They get dressed and run downstairs.
Bentley:"Momma! Daddy!"
Blaze:Mornin birthday twins!!"
Dottie:"I made waffles!"
Everest:"Yayy!! thank you Mommy!"
Dottie:"Sit down at the table,me and Daddy need to talk to you about something."
Bentley:"Okay!"
They sit down in their seats and Dottie gives them their breakfast.
Blaze:(whispers to Dottie)"can you tell them?"
She nods yes
Dottie:"So,the thing we need to talk to you about is that Daddy will be going away for a very long time."
Everest:"What do you mean?"
Blaze:"Im gonna go away for about a year so I can help other people,and I need to leave today."
Bentley:"Today? But today's our birthday!"
Blaze:"Dont worry I'm not gonna leave until after you go to bed,that just means you won't see me in the morning..."
Everest:"Aww I'm gonna miss you Daddy!"
Bentley:"Me too!"
Dottie:"Me three! " laughs," but we're going to spend the whole day together for your birthday!"
They finish eating
Bentley:"WAIT! Before we do anything we need a family hug!!!"
Everest:"Yeah!!"
Blaze:"Haha of course!"
They pull into a big emotional family hug.
Everest:"What're we gonna do now?"
Dottie:"Well you get to open the presents me and Dad got you,then you can open the presents you got for each other ."
Bentley:"Okay! let's go Evie!"
They go into the living room which was where the presents were.
Blaze:"Ok Everest open your present from us,then it'll be Bentley's turn."
Everest:"Okie!"
She opens the present,it was a mannequin doll head that had lots of hair for hairstyleing.she loved to play with hair,do hair,and anything else including it.She even tried to braid Bentleys hair once.
Everest:"WOW!! Thank you!!!"
Next it was Bentley's turn
He opened his present,it was a Ukulele,he loved music and specially asked for this so he could learn more about it.
Bentley:"YAY!! thank you!!"
Then they opened their presents from each other,first was Everest.
She opened her present from Bentley,it was a unicorn pillow that lit up if you layed on it.
Everest:"Yay!! I've always wanted one of these!! Thanks bro!"
Bentley:"Your welcome!"
Next was Bentley,he opens his present from Everest,it was a Basketball.
She got it because they passed by some older guys playing basketball in the park Bentley said he wanted one so he could be as good as them.
Bentley:"YES! Thanks Sis! your the best!"
Everest:"your welcome!"
Blaze:"Hey wait,I have a another surprise,for all of you actually."
Dottie:"Blaze what did you do..?"
He goes into a closet and grabs three jackets with three hats,they were all the military kind of camo and had different badges and stuff on the jackets.The jackets also had their last name on it,McKallister.
Blaze:"I got these for guys to remember me when I'm gone,and for you to feel special."
Dottie:"Thank you,Blaze this is great."
They tried on the jackets and hats.
Everest:"Wow this is cool! I'm gonna wear it to school on Monday!"
(it's Saturday)
Bentley:"Yeah! we're cool now!"
Blaze and Dottie laugh.
Blaze:"So is there anything else you want to do on your extra special birthday?"
Everest:"Can we go get ice cream??"
Bentley:"Yeah!"
Dottie:"Of course! let's go!"
They get in their truck and drive to the ice cream parlor.
They arrive and go inside.
Blaze:"Ok birthday twins you can get a waffle cone each with one scoop of your choice,"(cashier heard the order)
Cashier:"Hey there little guys,what kind of ice cream would you like?"
Everest:"Ooohh ,I want vanilla!"
Cashier:"got it,simple and sweet,just like you darling."
She gets a waffle cone and puts a vanilla scoop into it and hands it too Everest
Everest:"Thank you Ma'am!"
Blaze,Dottie,and the cashier smile
Cashier:"and you ,young sir?"
Bentley:"Hmmm, I want Rocky Road!!!!"(extra enthusiasm)
Cashier:"Wise choice sir,very good,comin right up."
She gets another waffle cone and puts the Rocky road scoop into it then hands it to Bentley.
Bentley:"Thank you- what's your name??"
Cashier:"Oh,I'm Katherine."
Bentley:"Thank you Katherine!!!"
He sits down next to Everest who say down in a booth.
Cashier:"Would the lovely couple/parents like anything?"
Blaze:"No thank you,and I'll make sure to leave a good review in your name."
Cashier:"Oh,Thank you!!"
Dottie:"How much do the cones cost?"
Cashier:"oh right,sorry, that would be 5 dollars!"
Dottie takes out a ten dollar bill
She hands it to her
Dottie:"Keep the change,and thank you."
Cashier:"thank you so much!!"
Dottie:"no problem!"
The walk over to where the twins were sitting,the cashier(Katherine,sorry)still having a big smile,bright as day.
Blaze:"you enjoying that ice cream there?"
Everest:"Yeah! Miss.Katherine makes the best ice cream!"
Katherine could hear their conversation since it was a small parlor,she laughed a little,still smiling.
Bentley:"yeah! "
They twins finished their cones.
Katherine had just finished her shift too
Bentley:"Daddy can I hug Katherine before we leave."
Blaze:" well you'll have to ask her that."
She was about to walk out.
Bentley:"miss.Katherine can I have a hug?"
Katherine:"aw of course "
They hug
Everyone was smiling
Katherine:"Well I've got to go now ,I hope you guys have a great birthday!"
Bentley:"thank you!!"
She was about to leave(again)
Dottie:"Wait!"
Katherine:"Yes?"
Dottie :"well I'm gonna need to have someone babysit the twins this year,so maybe you could help me with that?"
Katherine:"really? I love babysitting!"
Dottie:"yeah! and the twins seem to love you."
Katherine:"Of course! "
They exchange contacts
Dottie :"i can tell you the details later"
Katherine:"ok well I've gotta got now,Bye!"
They say their goodbyes and they go home.
Blaze:"hey twins,it's almost bedtime,and I'm gonna be gone when you wake up,but I asure you that I'll be here by your next birthday,I promise."
Both:"okay Daddy!"
Blaze:"Goodnight,I love you"
He hugs them and they trot upstairs.
He turns around to look at Dottie,she looked sad,her ears and tail were down too
Blaze:"Oh Baby."
He walks over to her and she starts to cry,he hugs her
Dottie:"i don't want to lose you!"
Blaze:"and you won't! I'll be back before you know it,I promise!"
Dottie:"Oh Puppy,I love you."
Blaze:"I love you too,Baby."
He kisses her,they do this for about 10 seconds.
Blaze:"Now,I need you to promise me something."
Dottie:"yeah?"
Blaze:"I need you to not cry,don't let the twins know ,stay happy,for me and for them,please?"
Dottie:"I promise "
Blaze:"Thank you,now I'm going to kiss you one last time and you are going to go to go make sure the twins are asleep,then You go to sleep,cause its pretty late."
Dottie:"Okay"she says faintly
He gives her one last passionate kiss.
She reluctantly walks up the stairs.
Blaze got his bags which were already packed and downstairs,he then walked out the door ,Fabien was taking him there this time.
He then left...
