Chapter 37

Davina melted off the lock in the back and walked in the vampires were scattered on the floor.

"Where is Marcel?" Davina asked

"Here's Josh" Aiden whispered. Aiden tried to get him up and he growled at them the rest of the vampires got up.

"Finn knows we are here." Davina said she backed up with Alexa and Aiden behind her Josh was trying to go after Aiden he snapped his neck and the three left. They got Josh to the car. Davina handed Aiden the keys.

"Go, I'll call later." she said

"Davina Kol said he'd rip you apart." Alexa said

"And what do you think he is gonna do to him someone he's know for a thousand year who betrayed him." she said walking round to the front entrance and going inside where Finn had Kol on his knees.

"That's not very brotherly." she said doing the same to him.

"What would you know about family." he grunted, "yours hated you." Davina faltered.

"Give us Marcel." she said as Kol got up again.

"You will lose. You are just as much of an abomination as the rest of them. I will kill you if it's the last thing I do." Finn said as he chanted in his head she could feel him ripped her heart from her chest.

"FINN STOP!" Kol shouted as her heart ripped from her chest to his hand and she fell to her knees the then ground her eyes open in shock.

"I'll kill you." he said

"Oh but you won't brother." he said sending him back to his knees, "I will give you what you fear most, death."

"Finn no." Kol begged.

"I will kill you then her, and our family is to follow. I curse you to this body. A slow and agonizing death. Get your affairs in order dear brother you don't have much time left at all." Finn said he walked out like no thing. Kol sat there a moment in fear. Then he saw Davina he picked her up and got her out of there.

Back at the tomb a few hours later she woke up.

"Hey take it easy love." he said she noticed where they were.

"What happened how did we get out?" she asked

"Finn had other things to do he left us, Marcel is free to go when he wakes which I imagine was a while ago by now. Regrowing a heart is nasty business how are you feeling." he asked tucking a few pieces of hair behind her ear. He smiled at her.

"Wait he actually ripped out my heart?" she asked

"Yes, it's still in that shop." he said

"Oh my god thats creepy." she laughed he kissed her.

"Hello." she said wrapping her arms around his neck and he sat down next to her. She straddled him as they continued to kiss. She began unbuttoning his shirt letting her warm hands touch his cold skin. He moved from her lips to her jaw then her neck kissing her while she leaned back. She broke the kissing taking off her top.

"Wait, wait." Kol said she moved off of him. And put her shirt on.

"I hate this." she said frustrated

"Me too Darling." he said she was still having trouble with sex. Having sex always resulted in her draining the person whether they were witches, wolves or vampires and she didn't want to take any chances with Kol's life. She loved him and she'd wait forever if she had to.

"How did things with your sister go then love?" he said she turned to face him. Her top now back on and her hair fixed.

"She's like me." she said

"I thought you said your parents were pick about that and that's why they-"

"I know but she left and was just a wolf all of hers happened after she left. She said something else." he said

"Tell me she said something about a gorgon?" he asked forgetting his own troubles for a moment staring at the women he loved.

"How could you possibly know that?" she asked

"Well I'd been thinking for a while the Phoenix is a bestowed gift. Not a species you are born as so that can't really be your eighth then you said you'd turned a man to stone, and it clicked but I didn't want to worry you on your birthday." he said

"So then I'm a-"

"A gorgon."

"So what does that even mean." she groaned in frustration.

"Books on gorgons. And no snake hair for you." he said kissing her temple putting an arm around her.

"I'm just glad I have you back I don't think I could do this without you." she said leaning her head on his shoulder. He hated not telling her but he couldn't he'd find a way to fix this he'd figure out a way to fix this. He held her knowing he'd have to tell Nik and Elijah. Davina jerked up, gasping her eyes turning a dusty brown color then she gasped and they were back to blue.

"What's wrong darling." he asked

"Someone is trying to find Hope."

So I have been on wattpad for a few years and I was pretty bad at writing at first but I have improved immensely over the past few years, in 2017 I finished my first Original story (which is not on wattpad) in 2018 I started my most popular book so far, this one Darling. and now in 2019 I have gotten 1000 reads. this is both the highest number of reads I've ever gotten but also the first book people have commented and voted on. so thank you to everyone who has helped me get to this point it means a lot to me that people are enjoying my stuff. so thanks and I hope to continue to let you enjoy this book.
