Petra went running through the cemetery looking for the original family. They were hugging and celebrating in the tomb as she burst in.

"It's Davina, something is wrong very very wrong, I can't feel her, at all."

"Relax love maybe she died she is on the fireplace." Rebekah said

"I can feel her then this is different wrong. There is nothing, she's she's gone." she said

"Let's go then, we have to get there now Nik." Kol said Klaus nodded as the siblings got in the car. They picked up Hayley along the way explaining what had gone down they got to the house when it was a smoking pile of rubble. Cami's car parked in front of it. Elijah was out by the car with Cami.

"What happened."

"Davina used her powers to blow up the house and Kill Finn."

"That's good now where is she." Rebekah asked

"Finn cast some kind of spell saying it would kill a phoenix she said if she died she'd heal but she's not in the house. Finn's body is but she is just ash." Elijah said

"NO!" Kol shouted at his elder brother, "NO she is alive, Davina is alive." He said going to the house Petra fell to her knees and sobbed. Her best friend whom she was supposed to protect was dead. Her person was dead. Kol went into the house seeing the extensive demand.

Her words from before she knew he was him ringing in his mind 'fire can't hurt me' he wasn't sure about that now, he was cured and Finn, had killed her. His body thrown across the room by the bast the remnants of the fireplace. Part of a house frame and such.

"She was there." Elijah said Petra's tearful eyes began to sting with more tears as she saw the pile of black, silver ash.

"She'll be okay." Petra said wiping her tears.

"What do you mean she's dead, deader than dead she is-"

"Ash the original phoenix died by fire his ashes turned to silver black dust she he was reborn from." she said

"She's gonna be a baby."

"I DON'T KNOW OKAY MY BEST FRIEND COULD BE AN INFANT IN A FEW HOURS SO SHUT THE HELL UP!" she screamed at the newbie witch.

"Baby bird." Gram greeted her girl hugging her cradling her, "I thought we lost you. I thought that bastard had you." she said to her granddaughter.

"What happened?" she asked

"Birdie he tried to kill you, that spell is much the same as his parents used on Niklaus he." she said

"Gram tell me what happened?" She said growing impatient.

"He took your magic he stole it, as of this moment you are human and the Phoenix is all you have left." she said tears brimming her eyes.

"No how do I undo it, Klaus undid his, how do I fix this Gram how do I go back." she asked

"I'm afraid that there isn't a way I know of. When you go back talk to Klaus see how he undid his. I will see what I can do from over here but Birdie. fire is not always enough, you can die again and again but there is nothing left in you but that bird." she said

"Where did it go?"

"The way I understand is Finn's buried magic so deep in your soul that it takes magic to unbury it. I help you but birdie, you must live like this. Be more careful, less reckless. No more fighting amongst the witches protect but do not provoke."

"Birdie it's time to go." she said helping her up.

"Why is there a door Gram?" she asked

"Very few times, is a Phoenix given the opportunity to make a choice, to stay here this is your choice." she said

"What about our legacy."

"In this case, it would go to the one, who's love for you is purest." she said, "Kol."

"I don't wanna die." she said

"Then open the door, you should know birdie, pure fire like you will have now is much harder to control. Work hard to deflect anger sadness remain calm." she said she kissed Davina's forehead and stepped back. Davina nodded and opened the door,

"How long will this take it has been nearly two days." Elijah said

"She's back." Petra said running to the room with her ashes in it Kol right behind her and everyone else filing in after, she coughed up black ash and breathed out.

"Davina I thought you were dead." Petra said hugging her.

"It's gone." she said Petra released her and Kol took her place

"Darling what do you mean it's gone?" he asked

"I have no more magic, he took it, I'm just a phoenix." she said as tears brimmed her eyes all her life she wanted to be normal here she was normal, and she hated it.

"Darling come here." Kol said holding her as she cried into him.

"It's gone."

No more magic for Davina. What do you think is gonna happen next let me know. also for the future of this book I don't know if I'll be updating on the weekends anymore. I just have a lot going on but I think it is going to be okay for a while just to do five days a week.
