After getting me on the ground, I was wrapped in a shock blanket, and even had a cup of water to calm me down. A few people tried questioning me, but I hadn't responded to anyone.

I want to talk to him.

After the last understood what I wanted, they brought him to me.

I look away however, embarrassed honestly.

"Hello," he starts, sitting next to me on the sidewalk.

I don't respond again.

"I read your note." He continues, nudging my arm slightly to get me to look at it. I do so.

I take the note from his hand slowly, glossing over it quickly and looking at him. "I'm sor-"

"Don't apologize. You're in a rough patch right now and you think the only answer is suicide." This man says as if he had known me forever. But strangely, he's almost accurate.

"No one loves me... I have no family. No friends. I was going to get booted from my apartment because I can't pay rent." I tell him as if I've known him for years. I don't even know his name.

"Well, now you have me. I know nothing of your backstory, but that's behind you. What's important is that you know you're future is in front of you." He stands. "Come with me." He extends his arm out, wanting me to take it.

Shakily, I do, slowly pulling myself up.
