Her Scent

Chapter 3- The Hate

Mia's POV

We arrived at the party hall just in time. The sponsor, Madame Athena is sharing her speech to the crowd.

Let's go Mrs. Marylanie. I said to her.

You go in first. I have to retouch before I enter the hall, I became sweaty walking from our room until here. , she replied. I just nod and walked inside the hall.

I was mesmerize by the beauty of the party hall, it was decorated with the combination of gold and silver. It's really perfect. I was so stunned because of the chandelier at the center of the hall, its very huge. It's the biggest one I've ever seen. As I continue walking I cannot see clearly Madame Athena, so I decided to get a space where I can see her face and listen to her words. When I was inside the crowd, I cannot see her properly, so I decided to move to the right side of the hall where there is less people. I stand there watching and listening to her. I was surprised that she still looks very stunning despite of her age. She's  a beauty. While listening, I can sense that someone is on my back, but I don't want to spoil my thing right now. So I just let the person stay behind me. However, I can feel that something is wrong. There's a heat from my back. I can sense the heat of someone's body at my back. I don't know but I have a bad feeling about it. It sends a trembling sensation on my body. I have to go, that's my decision to end this bad feeling that I have. When I decided to move. The lights became dim. I can't see properly, so I delayed my move. However, a very strong musculin arms wrap me from behind. I was so shocked that I can't even move the slightest. Only my heart is moving at this moment. His really strong, I know its a man because I can feel his hardened muscle on my back. I want to curse this beast, but I can't even move my lips, no words scape from my tongue. I don't know what is happening to me. Then, I felt his breath in my neck, then his lips landed into it. I want to scream... Help..... My body is shaking my knees were trembling. I think I'm becoming jelly now. His nose is sniffing my neck, like an addict who just got a marijuana.. It sends thousand vault of electricity inside my body. I know he can feel the heat from my body, and he tighten his grip into my body. I'm too weak to handle him. It's an elephant versus an ant. He is pressing his lips into my neck and down my shoulder. Oh God! Please help me. I want to scream but I can't, I don't know what happened to me. While he is savoring my neck, I prayed hard, just a single hit God, give me strength to defend myself. Then, I realized that I have my taekwondo skills. Before he could go far on what he is doing. I moved my hand and flip him. He flew and then all of a sudden lied down on the floor. I prayed that he will not stand, I don't have the strengh to duel him now. Thanks God, he answered my prayer. He seemed to be asleep now.

Then the lights were on. Maybe beacuse they hear a loud noise. Noise from what I have done awhile ago.

I saw a very handsome man lying on the floor. Is he the man who molest me earlier? He has a god feature for God's sake. How can this man do that horrible thing to a woman. Even if his handsome, I will not forgive him on what he did to me. I will let him suffer in jail.

Oh my God, son what happened?. Madame Athena hurriedly move to the man's side. .he is like crying..

(Son? Does that mean he is her son?) Oh my god, what should I do. Maybe I'm the one who will be going to jail. I will rot in there and what will happen to my family. Who will take care of them? I'm being hestirical right now.

But I have to be firm. I'm not the victim here.

You did this to my son? She asked but in a very calm and very clever look. I am thinking she likes the idea of her son being bitten.

Yeah. But I have my reason, why I did that to him. I honestly answered.

I know, you have. She smiled at me, then she ordered her guard to bring his son to his room.. She also announce that the party must go on. The crowd who resembles unto us were now busy to their own thing. Just like nothing happened.

Can I talk to you dear? What is happening, is she going to murder me because of what I did to his son?. Or she will let me live but be her slave. Many things came out unto my mind. I felt scared at this moment, but I have to be strong. My family is waiting for me to go home.

I decided to ignore my thoughts and be stronger and calm. This way, her ways or whatever she is into will not intimidate me.

Please have a seat. We are now in a presidential suit I presumed. It is lot bigger than what we had occupied. It is located in the 45th floor. The last floor of the building. It's like a whole house or mansion rather is in here.

While my eyes were wandering. She was just eyeing me with a smile on her face. I can tell that she will not do any harm. What is in her? Why did she asked me to be here?

Madame, why did you brought me in here?, I broke the silence between us.

She just smiles at me... Oh god, is she crazy?

I saw what my son did to you earlier. I'm sorry about his actions towards you. I think she was just drunk. I'm sorry about that again. She explained herself.

I know you are so shocked about what happened, and I hope we can still deal with it. She continued.

I knew it, she will ask me not to sue that pervert..
I'm sorry madame, but I have my firm decision now, I will sue your son for  what he did to me. I said in a calm but firm voice.

She just smiles. . .

Is she insane?...

Okay, you may sue him, i will help you. I will be the one to handle everything about it. No need for you to drop a sweat. She answered.

She is insane. I confirm. She is letting me sue his only son and she will help me for that. What is she thinking.

He did a wrong thing, so he must be punished. However, it will only last for an hour or a minute. My son has a lot of money. He can dismissed himself after few minutes.

Yeah, that's true.. I now realized its all true, what will I do?

Well, I have a good idea on how he will be punished and you will handle him, she utter.

What do you mean madame? I asked her back.

Be his secretary, she said with a smirk on her face.

What!!!!!!!??????... That will not happen. Over my dead body. I will not render service for that pervert. Neverrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!

I will see you tomorrow at 3 pm, let's meet at the hotels restaurant at the ground floor. I will wait for you to discuss the things I want you to do, she said with a domineering. Voice.

But madamme, I swear, I will not be his secretary. Whatever your reasons are, I will not do it. I replied.

Please do consider hearing me out. This will not harm you, but rather made a good advantage. Specially to your family. Hear me first before you say no. She said and stand in front of me.

I don't know what to say, I just want to evaporate at this moment.

I will dismiss you for now. Let's go back to the party and enjoy the night. She utter while holding my hands. We walked together outside the room and no words scape from her mouth after that.

I walked and join the party that night. Without any sense of belongingness. My mind is out of no where. I don't know what will happen tomorrow. I hope it will be okay.
