Bella and Sebastian are weeks away from getting married and all seems perfect and wonderful. They are tucked into their little love cocoon and only allowing those who love and support them as a couple into their bigger love bubble. What happens when...
"What are you doing here, Sebastian?" Bella asked after opening her flat's door to find Sebastian standing there with a bag.
"You weren't answering my calls," he stated by passing her and walking into the room. Bella didn't really know what to do so she closed the door and walked back to the bed and sat on it. Her plan was to avoid all human interaction for the week since she had told her director that she was sick. "Care to explain why you didn't answer?" Sebastian asked.
"I just needed to get away," Bella whispered playing with the edge of her favorite blanket. This explanation angered Sebastian.
"We are married. Till death do us part. That means we talk to each other, we don't leave the other wondering if we're alive for five fucking days Bella! I thought you were dead because no one heard from you for five days, Bella. Do you know how fucking much it hurt to not know you were ok?" He shouted at her causing her to flinch a little. Silence surrounded the pair as Sebastian started at Bella with hurt eyes and Bella avoided all eye contact with him. "Are you seeing him?" Sebastian asked causing Bella to look him in the eyes for the first time since he's been here.
"Did you really just ask me that?" She asked as the question hit her like a slap to the face.
"What am I supposed to think? Gal mentions something about him ruining our marriage and then you don't speak to me for five days," he said as her stare hardened at the same rate her heart did.
"Why'd you marry me then? If it's that easy for you to doubt my feelings for you, then please tell me why the fuck you married me." Bella said as tears of frustration started to fall from her eyes. Usually the tears soften up Sebastian, but this time he was too hurt and angry to care about her tears. He was too hurt and angry to think straight either.
"I don't know why I married you!" He shouted in frustration and it's that moment that froze both of their worlds. Bella's world collapsed and Sebastian's world turned upside down. "Trix, is didn't"
"You clearly did. Please just leave," she whispered while trying to control her tears. Seeing how broken he just made her Sebastian dropped his bag and joined her in the bed. "Leave," Bella ordered looking at him through her tears. All he did was scoot next to her and against the headboard. He brought her into his arms and that's when she let her sobs flow freely and he just held her.
"I love you so much," Sebastian whispered under his breath as he held and rocked his crying wife. His wife that was crying because he was an ass. Those tears are because of him and each one that left her eyes and landed on his chest stabbed him in the heart twenty times over. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
