25. Uncle Jesse Moment

The whole time leading up to the vows I wasn't paying attention to anything Benny Cumbers said, Perks of having a friend who is ordained.

"Sebastian why don't you go first?" Benedict asked as I began to play with the bottom half of my dress since it's poofy and because I'm awkward and didn't know what to do with my hands since I already handed my bouquet off to Galway.

"Trixie Girl. You have made my life a little crazier from the first time that I met you. Like you're insane half of the time," he said earning laughs from everyone in the lighthouse. "But I love that about you. Leaving you is always a thousand times harder each time that it has to happen. You work to make us work with both of our crazy schedules getting in the way, and I'm blessed to have found someone so understanding. It's you and me kid, forever and always. I promise to take care of you when you're sick in bed while cranky. I promise that when you want to run away and escape the craziness of the world I'm right there with you ready to go. I'm by your side and I love you," he said and the whole time I was fighting a losing battle with the growing lump in my throat.

"Bella," Benedict said and I sighed before reaching behind me to Galway who in hand handed me my vows.

"I would like to start off by saying how much I hate you, because now I have to follow that up," I said laughing through my tears as he reached across the alter to wipe them away.

"What can I say? I'm just good with words," he said as he did an imaginary hair flip and we all laughed in response.

"This is why I love you. You're not afraid to be goofy with me. You know how to cheer me up when I'm down. You were a middle school girl's crush and then you turned into her adult hood boyfriend, and today that middle school girl is grown up and marrying the man of her dreams. I can't begin to tell you how thankful I am for you in my life. I will spend the rest of my life trying to find the perfect words to let you know, but until then I hope these work," I said before pulling a total Uncle Jesse from Full House and dragging him over to a piano. As I got situated Ed came up to join me for the song since it's a duet.

And I know somehow it's right" I started to sing. The whole time I was singing Ed was playing the piano and I was maintaining eye contact with Sebastian who had New Years forming in his eyes that he would wipe away every now and again. When the song was over everyone clapped and I stood up to give Sebastian a hug.

"You are one of a kind, who just needed an Uncle Jesse moment," he said and I laughed with a nod of my head as we headed back to the middle of the alter hand in hand turning and facing each other again.

"Wow, well I think there is nothing else to say, but with the power invested in me......." he said taking a long pause.

"Get on with it! I'm not sure I can stand one more second not having her be my Mrs," Sebastian said to him.

"Right, with the power invested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride," Benedict said and Sebastian eagerly pulled me closer to him and softly laid his lips on top of mine as our friends and family cheered.

The pictures took a while only because the kids wouldn't sit still for too long, but now they're done and we're going to the reception hall in the light house where Sebastian and I have an announcement for the one hundred guest that we invited. I just changed into my reception dress that Sebastian picked out for me and that I hadn't seen before now. Anytime that I went  in for fittings I had to wear a blind fold. When I put it on I gasped and started tearing up because he knew me so well.
