Alexandra's POV

We drove around the city while i concentrated on driving. Shit why is it so silent, why the hell did this suddenly became awkward for me, i looked at her secretly watching the window, we were both silent when she suddenly looked at me making me turn around to hide my reddening face.

" What's your plan? And don't you dare say its a surprise cause its too cliche' " she chuckled and i rolled my eyes and hit the brakes when the red light came into view.
" I wanted us to go to my favorite bookstore here,it got a reading place and all of that"  i said without looking at her and she let out a silent squeal. I know how she loves books. just by the amount of reading she do at the library at the academy.im betting she already finished half of it by the end of the year.

We arrived at Florence's book store by a few minutes. Regina went out and look at the 2 storey building with amazement and adoration. And pulled me in hurriedly.
" This is amazing!! They all have it in here." She giddily went from one shelf to the next. I made myself comfortable by sitting on one of there sofa's near the horror corner and started reading. And by the time i was half way i felt her sit next to me with stock of books in her hands. I had to blink a couple of times before she opened her wallet and counted the prizes of the books.
" Wait hold on a sec " i looked at her and she turned her head , " i ask you out ,im paying " i said and she shook her head. " You don't have to do that Alex , its too much" she said as her hand stopped my chest from getting closer. Clenching my fist , i tried to calm down . Shes too much work, why do you even put up with it . My inner demon said and i looked at Regina and held her hand.
" I don't want to ruin this date because of my temper ,and im paying that's final" i flick her forehead and she let out a huff and grab one of her books and started to read. I smirked and moved closer until were shoulder to shoulder and i put my arm around her shoulder. She covered her face immediately and we continued reading until she said about being hungry.
" Where do you wanna go then " i grab the bags after buying a few books for her. which earn a pinch from her,worth it though.
" Somewhere with chocolate cake please" she said quickly. Why am i even surprised its only been a few months since she arrived from another country.
We went out of the bookstore and place the books we brought in the car before looking for a nice cafe. Looking at the time its already been 3 hours and by judging the look at Regina's face, i guess shes having fun. 

A few minutes of looking she pointed at a nice looking cafe with cute design, like the ones you see in anime movies with maids and all of that stuff. Her eyes instantly widen when the maids took her hand inside. I grab Regina's hand and gave the maid a knowing look.  Which she immediately got and smiled .
" This way ladies,what will it be table or booth?" She said brightly," well take the table " i said,
and  she gave us menu's when both of us are already seated.

" I'll have chocolate cake and caramel shake please" Regina said and looked at me.

I blinked a couple of times before realizing I've been looking at her too much. I looked at the menu quickly and ordered brewed coffee and mocha cake.

" So what have you been doing at America Regina" i ask her while looking at her face down to her cute button nose and  small plump lips. She blinked before answering.
" I've been home schooled for 5 years there.and i did a lot of reading and sketching and because mama had complications after giving birth to my sister and i wanted to take care of her." She said and our orders came and we started eating. I wanted to know more about her life there, knowing at least she was happy living away from me.
" tell me more about your life there Regina" i said softly and she looked at me before finishing her cake.
" Nah ah tell me yours first, before i tell mine" she nervously said and touched her hair softly and looked in my eyes. I sigh, of course she'd be suspicious and cautious or nervous, i basically tormented her for years. Well it vice versa though.but still it'll take time before she could trust me. Seeing her happy with me feels amazing.
